OU vs Rocky Top Score Predictions

I have to be honest with myself and as much as I want OU to shut that fanbase up , I just don’t think the offense can outscore UT. If the OU D can keep it in the 14-20 pt range I think OU may just pull it off. I just don’t see that happening though.

I was thinking 31 to 13. so basically the same. I had been thinking this would hopefully be a win for OU, just not seeing it realistically sadly.
Tenn > OU, that is all I can say. We have a ton of growing up to do and our Line is going to get man-handled. I hope our D can keep us in the game but without sustained drives we will see them wear down. Also, we had several blown coverages in the secondary so Tenn could get some quick scores in as well. Last week I predicted a loss and was wrong so I hope the reverse psychology works again this week. From what I have seen, I am not optimistic.
I predict that the defense is going to have their best game ever. Not our defense, but there's.
It is really hard to gauge just how good the Tennessee D is due to who they have played. They did shut down NC State but even with that just how good is NCS offense? 38 Pts vs W Carolina and 30 vs La Tech. However just like NCS the OU offense hasn’t fared any better and UT beat them 51-10.
On the flip side though I do believe the OU D is much better than the Wolfpacks. It is going to take a David vs. Goliath effort from the OU D to keep this game within strikng distance to win. Unless the Offense finds some magic fairy dust it just might turn into one very long night.

That's probably correct, but sometimes teams beat themselves with turnovers and other poor play. That's how upsets usually happen. If Tennessee plays a relatively clean game, then they're going to win,. If not, then OU has a shot.

I aint never seen a bunch of lilly livered bunch of pansies in my life, this aint Tenn this is OU, we take a back seat to nobody! Nobody and I mean nobody is giving OU a chance to win. I hope the staff has been pumping that into their noggins all week and they come out pissed off and fired up. Open up a can Sooners, this is OUr house they are coming into with all that disrespect. Yep. All said tongue in cheek but somebody has to say it. Reminds me of the Texas game last year, we had no chance at winning that game but we certainly did win it.
Sometimes being up against better competition forces out your A game. I don't think we're as bad as we feel and UT ain't as good as advertised.

True statement as I admit I didn’t see us beating Texas last season either. I am really excited for this game but no way would I bet on our beloved Sooners to win. Can they? Sure, but it will take a monster effort by the D to keep the game low scoring because I just do not see the offense being able to keep pace if the game becomes a scoring match. Against Texas last season at least the offense was very good.
I am tired of listening to the SEC crap at work all week long and would nothing more than to walk into work Tuesday and give them crap with an OU win. I will be glued to my seat in my living room watching the game but since I have my grandkids tonight, the wife ssid I had to behave if OU starts losing. Gotta make sure I don’t cuss.
Did anyone watch the Nebraska - Illini game last night? I hope that the OU players keep those emotions in check if they lead late in the game. It almost cost the Illini in OT if the ref had thrown the flag on them on that 3rd and forever.
