I actually thought it would come down to Biden and her at first. She's gotten nowhere.
It was that debate performance where she went after Biden. She made it personal to herself which makes her relatable. And she was prepared for it wile Biden wasn't. The next set of debates, Gabbard turned the tables on her with an attack on Harris that Harris wasn't prepared to defend, and she has yet to recover from that.

Medicare for all is a loser. You lose the big union votes, because that strips those folks of good benefits they fought for. You also make an enemy of a large industry, healthcare insurance, and likely the healthcare industry as a whole. If that's a key part of the D platform, I don't see how they can win.
I always envision her orally on the stump, very seldom do I see her in a traditional position. I think she continues to move left, while on the stump, of course I don't have any way to know , personally.
