Local driving range looks better. That's my main take so far.
So does the team.Local driving range looks better. That's my main take so far.
Not replacing divots from chasing down offenses I supposeLocal driving range looks better. That's my main take so far.
We'll see how it looks in a couple of weeks. But I'm gonna predict it will still look excremental. The grounds crew may not have cut the field because they just overseeded the bermuda with rye grass seed...that's why the field looks a little shaggy.
We’re a million miles from 2013.Local driving range looks better. That's my main take so far.
2013 might as well be the moon. We’re a million miles from 2013.

And how does that happen? How do you regress so much over that time? Complete mismanagement.
Since the field gets more attention than the team maybe we add neon lights to our uniforms. The lights may look great, in person, but everything looked like crap on the ESPNU broadcast.
Football stadiums are looking less like football stadiums and more like Studio 54Since the field gets more attention than the team maybe we add neon lights to our uniforms.

TV. That's the view most people get. Were you at the game or watching on TV?
I was at the game, and it looked fine to me. Must have been the terrible ESPN broadcast.TV. That's the view most people get.
It was a good HDTV feed featuring shots from close in. The field looked splotchy. The people didn't look splotchy so I surmise it had something to do with the field. The overseed hypothesis is at least plausible.I was at the game, and it looked fine to me. Must have been the terrible ESPN broadcast.
The field looked splotchy. I didn't say the grass was brown or appeared to be dying.I work in landscaping and lawncare with professionals. Everyone I have talked to told me that USC has one of the best playing fields in the country by far. That is one reason why schools go after our people who work on the playing fields at USC. Several have been hired by MLB and professional soccer teams. I put my trust in people who know what they are talking about.

Well, I do sit about 30 rows up, so you were likely getting a closer view than me!It was a good HDTV feed featuring shots from close in. The field looked splotchy. The people didn't look splotchy so I surmise it had something to do with the field. The overseed hypothesis is at least plausible.
