Regardless if Sellers plays this week or not should we continue with Luke or bring Noland or Woods into the rotation?

Plusses and minuses each way I look at it.

There is no future with Doty so bring someone else along. I guess the coaches could argue. He gives us the best chance to win, but if sellers isn’t playing the season is toast anyway so I don’t really see what it matters.

If Doty gives us our best chance to win, that is a terrible comment on the other two.

My opinion of Nolan came primarily from the recruiting hype, but he left OSU after a year and promptly landed behind Doty? Not a good look.

Maybe the coaches are placing a lot of emphasis on doty's experience with the offense?

Either that or they are blowing off the present in favor of the future.
In other words, saving them for something that may never happen.

ANYONE but Doty! That’s absolutely like saying “We Quit”. check his career record as a starter. Who cares if they don’t know the plays. Absolutely as much as a shot as Doty

Playing Doty is waving the white flag.
I know it has been a while but I remember when Doty was who all the fans were clamoring for to come in and save the season.

Carolina has a pretty long history of having no qb depth. I can't think of another team that had to bring in a grad assistant to play qb.

In fairness - most schools in the SEC are going to have serious challenges if they lose their starting QB for any length of time.

With that said, I would have liked to have seen what Ashford could have done on Saturday night filling in for Sellers.

Stat wise, Doty was fine. The problem we had was LaNorris' pick in the red zone, the missed FG, and the two fourth down conversions. We score TD's on the drives that gives us 31 points. That being said, we would have found a way to screw it up. Luke tries and he's been here for 6 years but I would like to see Air Noland.

I say take a look at Noland. This may be the only opportunity you get before next spring. Gives you a chance to see if Noland is worth developing. If he's not worth it, you know you need to push Woods in the spring. Who knows though. If Sellers doesn't get it together, he may need to come back. Nobody on this offense, seems to have a good grasp of what they are doing.

Uh..................Sellers needs AT LEAST another college season. Or he's gonna be a massive draft bust.

They were also up 24-7 then 31-7. They were cool with us throwing for 3-6 yds when Doty came In. Anemic
