I’m still amazed when I look up game after game and this guy is still our leading scorer. I love his defense, and I love that he is a dawg. But goodness, his offense is almost unbearable. He bricks layups and throws up air balls from 2 feet the way that Edwards got blocked by the rim. You can pretty much count on him missing badly if his shot in the paint is contested in any way.

He’s having one rough game against a damn football team. Literally last game he had a crazy left hand adjusted lay in between 2 defenders that was just absurd. The way he attacks the rim viciously, we haven’t had a player like that since MKG.
and he does something spectacular every game.
Does he make a shot in the lane once in a while? Sure. Is he more prone to hit nothing but the backboard or throw up an air ball? Absolutely. If you were to make a compilation of every contested shot he’s taken in the lane, it would be brutal.
Without question the biggest surprise of the season. It’s not even close IMO

Yes, and MKG was not a good shot if I remember correctly. Oweh has got to finish if he’s going to drive thru the lane or baseline. Seems he can only hit unguarded layups or dunks.
He’s not having a good game but he has been the epitome of steadiness this year. He’s a dawg and I expect him to be better in the second half.
If you think this is anything but a reference to the Grateful Dead, then you don’t know much about music.
I’m certain that NBA talent scouts are looking at his inability to even hit the rim on most of these contested layups and thinking, “Hard pass.”

The team is so much better when Oweh dunks at least twice. I don’t have any stats to back it up, but just trust me.

That’s why you’re not an NBA scout. Oweh will get a look for his athleticism and defense alone. Players’ shooting mechanics can be fixed.

His are not busted either, he has a slight hitch or delay sometimes but when he shoots with rhythm it looks good.
I'm pretty sure they got the ball in his hands on those last couple possessions so he would be the one at the free throw line, the whole team trying to keep his streak alive. I continue to love this team. Butler throwing the ball to Oweh to avoid the turnover and Oweh dodging it made me lol too
