Oweh has been invited to 2025 draft combine

Oweh is not an NBA player. Not now or next year.


He can’t shoot, he can’t handle the ball, doesn’t pass or create for others and he’s not overly athletic. He’s strong and can jump high.

But that didn’t help him on layups.



He’s a small forward in a point guard body.

He’s a damn fine college player. He’s just not an NBA player.

That doesn’t mean a team wouldn’t draft him. That happens all the time.

Usually it’s on a younger guy that they just don’t know. They know Oweh.

How many 1000’s of guys are athletic enough for the NBA that aren’t in the NBA?

He’s athletic at 6’4”. He’s not a freak athlete as compared to the NBA guys.

He’s certainly athletic compared to college guys. He’s a very good college player. He is not an NBA player.

He is the player he is. He doesn’t have great basketball instincts. He doesn’t handle the ball well at all. He doesn’t have quick release. He doesn’t shoot off the dribble. He is a decent catch and shoot player. But they leave him open in college.

He can get a 3 anytime he wants it because the scouting report is to let him have it and shade his right hand.

If the NBA wanted him he would already be there.

I don’t think he leaves without a first round guarantee. Obviously he could get a Chris Livingston type deal in the second round but he will make more next year coming back.

I don’t think he leaves without a first round guarantee. Obviously he could get a Chris Livingston type deal in the second round but he will make more next year coming back.

He wont get a Livingston type deal because Livingston had a lot of potential and was a freshman, NBA aint gonna see as much potential in a junior. Basically it was a team that felt Livingston was worth a first round pick in their eyes and gave him that type of deal and it just wont be the same with Oweh.

I do think oweh can work his way up to the 35-40 range, but he said wants a first round guarentee
