Injured?...You guys are idiots. He was putting up big time numbers at Iowa before he got injured.
Big time numbers in the big 10 conference.
Bums don't do that.
Be better, idiots.

Given your history of hot takes, it’s a safe bet he is not close to being a bum. He's a fockin bum
Well maybe not to you, but the market kind of dictates that they are.Neither is worth the $$
That market is a clown show and does not reflect actual value, IMHOWell maybe not to you, but the market kind of dictates that they are.
That's your opinion, which I've seen is usually pretty worthless. I say he's a bumGiven your history of hot takes, it’s a safe bet he is not close to being a bum.
And as a player, he’s not.
Actual value is how much someone is willing to pay for youThat market is a clown show and does not reflect actual value, IMHO
Well, what a particular team is willing to pay presumably establishes your value to that team, but teams will & do overpay & when they do they have exceeded the player's actual market value as a player. For e.g., if a portal player gets 10 offers & 9 of them about $x & team 10 (Creighton for e.g.) offers the player $2x, I wouldn't consider $2x to be that player's "market value". That's my take.Actual value is how much someone is willing to pay for you

His past season stats of 5 pts, 4 rbs, & 0.6 DWS really scream star player, huh?Given your history of hot takes, it’s a safe bet he is not close to being a bum.

Looking at the last couple of years, his final year here ended with a finger injury. Then, at Creighton, he had a knee injury. Now, let's see what becomes of his time at Auburn. Will he come off of their bench? I can see him as a backup at center. The only question is, how productive can he be, and can he defend? His past season stats of 5 pts, 4 rbs, & 0.6 DWS really scream star player, huh?
Honestly he put up big numbers against bad teams at Creighton. He was actually so much worse against power 5 type teams than these stats. His past season stats of 5 pts, 4 rbs, & 0.6 DWS really scream star player, huh?
Two things:His past season stats of 5 pts, 4 rbs, & 0.6 DWS really scream star player, huh?
Please go back to off topic, you're so insightful thereTwo things:
1. I never said he was a star player.
2. Cherry picking one piece of data is a lazy, stupid way to argue a point.
If you want to talk character issues, that’s a different conversation. If you’re addressing Freeman from a strictly basketball-ability standpoint, then I would advise you in good faith to steer as far away as possible from any opinion Turd Warner has. Co-signing any opinion of his is just never a good idea. Be better. Unless, of course, you’re of the opinion that winning Big Ten Freshman of the Year honors and averaging 18 points a game as a sophomore translates to being a bum. If so, then, like Turd Warner, you are beyond help, and I apologize to myself for the wasted effort in typing this and to anyone else who had to waste even a nanosecond scrolling past this brief exchange.
Oh man this is great stuff. It’s clear you did not actually watch the games when he was here. He also never averaged 18 points a game. You’ve posted multiple times on this site “I didn’t watch the game, but here’s what I think.” You can do these diatribes on politics like you love to do, but not for hoops. Go back & watch the games when he was here, you’ll come away with a different conclusion. Two things:

Hard for me to see how he runs up and down the floor with SEC talent for a full season.Freeman is rumored to get 1.3 million from Auburn . matt gatens recruited him
Okay, so you’re taking the full potatoes Turd Warner approach. Great.Oh man this is great stuff. It’s clear you did not actually watch the games when he was here. Fran never made him play defense. He put up a lot of points on bad Iowa teams. I still can’t believe McDermott took him. Certain members of the staff at Creighton didn’t want him (and some of the players) but McDermott still brought him. And they got burned bad by Owen. Two things:

Yeah, I don't dispute any of that.Fran never made him play defense. He put up a lot of points on bad Iowa teams. I still can’t believe McDermott took him. He’s got talent, but his work ethic, effort, and ability to play defense was exposed at Creighton.Yeah, I don't dispute any of that.
But do you believe he is a bum when it comes to basketball talent?
If he had Garza's mindset he could have been really good. But he didn't. His effort was lousy at iowa most games. He was lazy and had a big headHe’s got talent, but his work ethic, effort, and ability to play defense was exposed at Creighton.
So character and work ethic-wise, he’s a bum? I could see that as quite possibly being true. At least, I have no reason to doubt it’s true. He’s got talent, but his work ethic, effort, and ability to play defense was exposed at Creighton.
He will get dragged.Hard for me to see how he runs up and down the floor with SEC talent for a full season.
You're right, bum probably wasn't the word to use actually. He seemed not real motivated and appeared to think a lot of himself, which is better than not thinking much of yourself. Anyway, you're right that he has plenty of time to change, he's a youngsterSo character and work ethic-wise, he’s a bum? I could see that as quite possibly being true. The good news is he is young and perhaps capable of learning from that. Maybe.
Well he doesn’t have that much time for his athletic career, unless he’s fine playing professional in some lower European league. It’s crazy how much of a positive impact Josh Dix (albeit in a losing bad season) had for Creighton and then Owen had the complete opposite effect. You're right, bum probably wasn't the word to use actually. Isn't he a senior? (I have no idea how eligibility is enforced)You're right, bum probably wasn't the word to use actually.
