Have a feeling he is going to have a big season under Frost.

One of only a few players under Riley that display any attitude and with the new coaches everyone will get reps in practice. He will get the unvarnished truth on what it takes to see the field and the coaching he needs.

With Riley it just seemed like gosh Devine you're really good but we don't like to be aggressive.

That is a funny line... it always seemed like right when Ozigbo should be named the starter... coaches wouldn't play him for several games in a row. I don't think he quite has the speed that Frost is looking for... but given that Frost spreads his carries around to several backs... he should be able to have a chance to show his stuff.

Will be interesting if Tre Bryant can get healthy.

He wont be in the doghouse for no reason ill tell ya that.

He probably isnt fast enough to run some of this offense but im sure he will get used. Hes a good player.

Who's doghouse was he in?
He himself said he did not know why he wasnt playing especially early at times this year, remember when everyone on here was wondering where he was and all the sudden people started guessing "weed" and all that garbage which is nothing more than a lie and a rumor.
Im basing doghouse on the fact that him not playing had nothing to do with attitude, practice, or team rules and that he was obviously our best RB other than bryant, not to mention his experience factor.
Do not doubt me on this, he and his teammates did not know why he wasnt playing.
Typically if a former major contributor all the sudden rides pine, theres a reason and they are told.
If you are asking which coach I dunno.

Having a QB that is available to run the ball, in addition to a playbook that gets the ball to other playmakers should open things up for Devine. His productivity per run should go up, even if his carries don’t.

Not trying to be difficult but why can’t people doubt you on this?

I never heard anything on record about this.

I honestly do not know what to expect, this staff will treat everyone new with fresh eyes at practice like every new staff does, plus you have to remember bell will probably play immediately and bradley a year older, maybe wilbon flourishes too.
I think we have a good stable. Frost does like committee.

You can doubt me all you want, my reason for saying that was just to drive the point home.
This is not on record publically.
Nor am I saying anything about Ozs feelings regarding the previous staff, i truly dont know and Oz is a good guy by all accounts so Im not trying to say he fought with the staff or anything (which if true would explain things, but it isn't). So dont read into it more than Im saying.
Im just saying I know, from a very reliable group of sources, that Oz and teammates didnt know why he wasnt playing.
You dont have to believe me, but its true.

I aint goin that far.
I dont blame you for asking or wanting to know more, but If to believe me you need me to tell you personal things, feel free to not believe me because I wont. Its no skin off my back and at this point it realy doesnt matter anyway. I just didnt like the rumors I was seeing.

You need to re-check with your sources. Just a "hunch"

Ozigbo like Tanner Lee doesn't seem to fit this offense but I've been wrong many times before.
You can be right and wrong, theres an in between.
Theres a difference between fit this offense and fit this offense well.
Obviously ozigbo isnt someone frost probably would have recruited for this offense but it desnt mean he cant use him.

Ozigbo will find a home in Scott Frost's offense. Imagine Ozigbo running between the tackles when the offense has the defense spread out all over the field. Oh yes... Ozigbo will definitely have a place in this offense! Don't doubt me when I lay down the truth.

Don't be surprised if Ozigbo runs for close to 1,000 yards and has around 15 touchdowns.

It seemed odd that Devine did not play much in the first three games this past season. Never read that he was in anyone's doghouse. I think Devine will do better as all other players will now that they finally have a coach.

Greg Bell or whatever his name is the juco running back might have something to say about who plays and who sits, Number 1 rated rb in juco land must be pretty good and i know the guy can jump, should be a interesting camp and spring ball to sort things out.

We're going to be playing fast so EVERYONE will get important touches.

I think Zig will slim down a bit and work on his speed. He definitely has the toughness. His perceived (I say that because I have no idea how fast he actually is) lack of a top gear is why people are doubting his fit.

11.4 PR in the 100M in HS. Not a true burner, but good speed for his size.

Devine might get some touches on 3rd & short, but I too question if he has enough speed to be an every down contributor.
Don't know if you will see much substituting size on short yardage situations because Frost is on the next play before the current down is snapped. If a player isn't a four down player he ain't playing.

It wasnt in an interview or in ppaers.
Of course hes gonna say that, i agree, but when teammates agree something is strange.

I get the hand-wringing after the first game. But the starter was doing well, and Oz did not see the field that first game. Opinions differ on why, but I trust what I was told. After Bryant went out he was in the mix, and at the time I thought it was good they didn't just hand him the 2nd spot (again reasons differ). I always liked him, but people here were screaming for Wilbon for 2 years, and due to the circumstances I think the coaches did the right thing giving him the first shot.
