IP has just had a great career already and will be a part of Chief's fokelore for a long time. And you know what happens when he is due real $$$- they will drop him like a hot rock.

But this kid knows how to get that crowd going- hoping for another big 5+ years for him...He makes me think he could also make an OJ Anderson transformation to get a few extra years as well.

With the resurgence in importance of the RB position this year, it is pretty likely another team would grab Pacheco for something like a 3x$5 or 6 million deal after next year.

Not the huge money some guys get, but it would still be quite an accomplishment for where he was on draft day.

Agree- the point was more that, he has become an absolute fan fav...even if he recovers fully, has a great last part of the year and SB win again- the owners would drop him like a hot rock once he is in line for the check.

With a hard cap every team is trying to win with as many key rookie deals as possible. Given how the NFL hates to give Running Backs a second contract, IP needs to stay healthy, to not get screwed. He had a good game, no coach is going to over use a back coming off of injury.

He’s definitely making endorsement money.

IP needs to finish strong and get another SB ring then be in position for a deal that guarantees him a min of $10MM with or w/o KC.
