You don't know Andy Roberts? Won multiple club titles when he was playing a few years back.

Like he said, a lot of us has played golf with him before so we can verify his claims.

You must not get out much.

Well do not settle your score playing Old Stone, it is a ****** course. Hacks shoot 78 there regularly. Would love to see a BBDK vs Drain The Tub one on one. No strokes per side, straight up, no match play ****, low score.

But seriously, "the mods please ban is a joke", so quit getting too bent out of shape, he is joking. He hates me, but BBDK does this **** to rub people, and does a damn fine job, I fell victim when I first started posting. Lets get this back to a gentleman's forum. take this pissing matches to the Dleague or GYERO, they would love it there. I was part responsible trying to get it back on the right track going at AllaboutUK and telling how he was getting perceived by the way he post why he did not get lessons.

Well, this clown was just exposed as a complete troll. Thought that might do the trick. My apologies to GolfRo.

If you don't know who Andy Roberts is, then you don't play competitive golf in Kentucky. That's not even debatable. KY Open winner, Multiple KGA POY awards, Top 10 in the State Am every year, USGA Publinx Semis, US Am Qualifier, KGA mid-am champion...and probably 200 other wins around the area.

Been the best (or in the conversation) amateur in this state every year for a decade or more, and is still doing his thing.

You're done, but it was fun.

U must stick to your sandbagger club because that doesn't ring a bell one bit

I question a little bit if you've really played as much and as well in Kentucky as you've insinuated. Andy has won the Kentucky Open and made it to the quarterfinals of the U.S. Pub Links.

Pretty good for a message board dickhead, and certainly someone I figured you would've heard of if you have played and won in so many events across the state.

I thought it was squashed at that point. I owned up to my part in it and saw the mistake I made after you pointed it out. Apparently that wasn't enough. I thought this thread was for golf not DLeague or GYERO type stuff. I guess it was bound to bleed over though.

Oh and Andy can flat stripe a ball. He good, better bring your A game hoss, be kind of bad jumping on here making challenges and getting waxed by a washed up has been. He is no Roy McElroy (Tin Cup), be he is no slouch, actually he is a terrible slouch. Hope hip hop blarring doesn't alter your game, or the smell of menthols. If he takes a break, watch your golf towel.

I learned semi-quickly from the DLeague to relax and not get bent out of shape. I avoid name calling and try to be polite (myself) to everyone. Lot's of cool people in the Paddock, and a few not so much. Just looking for tips on places to play and lessons learned from others. ;)

Well he won the KY Open in 2010, so it's not like it's been that long ago. A legitimately competitive statewide golfer shouldn't have zero recollection of even hearing his name.

I can assure you his point wasn't to avoid playing. His point was to find out if tubby was full of ****, and he found out he was rather quickly.

Then let's quit deflecting and get this back on topic. When those two gonna meet up and play?

Ok. Deal.

When/where do you play? Lots of good golfers on catpaw, but the only golfer here I wouldn't be silly enough to bet straight up against is Fields...if you're the 2nd, props -- but you wouldn't "dust" ****.
I volunteer to be the match official. Loser has to get on here and publicly proclaim the superiority of the winner.

Andy is #2 on the KGA points list THIS year. Also finished 2nd last year.

T4 in the 2015 State Am at Big Springs. Top 15 (as an amateur) in the KY Open 2015. T3 in the Mid-Am 2015.

There isn't a college golfer, current or former, in this state under 50 who still plays competitively that doesn't know who Andy Roberts is.

Period.

Let's quit engaging this clown.

Head to head or not? If one of the two doesn't want to do it then let's see who it is. Awful lot of deflection and dodging going on.

So you are or are not Andy Roberts? I'm confused. Just because idk a random guy who won the ky open means absolutely nothing. I'm saying today, not going off past accolades, I will beat whoever bbdk is because I'm confident in my game. That's the beauty of golf

FWIW, the "OK" track I belong to (Champions) has been the US Open qualifier and site of two Ky Opens, won by Steve Flesch and JB Holmes. Also, just about to reopen, new owners closed it last August and totally redid the greens with poa resistant grass developed by Purdue Univ, also cut way down on rough around greens. Really pumped to see what the place looks like.

I got an invite to the two course open house....interesting how they are going to manage both courses. Did Danny buy Champions too??

Proof or shut the hell up! No matter what anyone thinks of BBdK he is a known quantity on this board. I've not played with him but know several folks who have.

[laughing] 2015 KY Open champion (who tub waxes all the time) Kent Bulle, who I know personally, is on the verge of qualifying for the PGA Tour, having just had a GREAT season on the Latin American PGA Tour, finishing 2nd on their Order of Merit. (1 win, 2 runner-ups, 8 top tens)

http://www.pgatour.com/players/player.35731.kent-bulle.html/career

Okay, now I'm done for real. Sorry everyone. :flushed:

Was thinking about playing them because i always like to look at mark on the ball when i hit, but after thinking about it, i thought it was too much and could distract me.

I mark my ball with a thick red sharpie line but I'm with you on this. Seems a little too much to keep focus.

<---May wipe the mud/sand/grass blades off the ball if I'm not too drunk to forget.

If I'm really lucky, my ball will come to rest within the shadow of the pin. It's always a straight putt then, right?

Lol, it's a 3 page feature cover article in my hometown newspaper after our Eli Barron Golf Tournament.

I'll see if I can dig it up and post...pretty surreal & extremely inappropriate for a paper. [laughing]
