Played it a couple of summers ago and really enjoyed it. Cant remember it well but it was in great shape and had some challenging holes. I think there are a lot of weddings at the club house.

Played 9 today at Lake Forest. It was miserable because of the conditions. It also did not help that i don't really know what I am doing since I am taking lessons.
One of the guys I played with aced the 8th hole. 199 yards...first hole in one I have witnessed.

I've not had one, closest I got was last year on #11 at Tot Hill Farm last year. Stopped about 6 inches from the cup. Only good shot in a miserable round.

I saw one at Wooded View over in Clarksville back around 1990. We were standing on a tee box waiting to hit and looked over at another green and saw an older woman hit one. They didn't know it went in until I yelled over and told them. They all squealed. Only one I've ever seen, never had one.
Never had one, never seen one......Had one stop about 3 inches while coming downhill to the hole. Still don't know why that ball stopped. Generally my irons are not close enough to the flag to scare it.
I've witnessed two and had 1 myself. The 2 I witnessed were on the same hole (16th at Golf Club of the Bluegrass) by the same guy, exactly one week apart. It was nuts.
I've witnessed two. Both in Hilton Head. One by a 20 handicapper who drop-kicked a hybrid on a 180 yard hole at Harbor Town. Another by my brother in law who actually kinda called his shot...was one of the most surreal moments of my life.

Great shape but really wet right now. Course has always had a drainage issue being in the center of the development.

I've had one at Trillium Links in Cashiers, NC on Good Friday 2010. PW from about 142 on #13.

Yeah I was afraid of that with all the rain we've had the last week. I need all the roll I can get.

Probably the closest i have ever been was #4 at Meadowbrook. Couple inches. The #4 has been good to you.

I drive to the course with my glove and spikes on, and a tee behind my ear.
I have two, first was thirty years ago at Lakeside on what used to be no. 4, about 175 or 180 yards. The other one was in 2009 at Champions, hole no. 14, 160 yards with a six iron (which is on the placque hanging on my office wall) :sunglasses:
What I find strange is how few eagles I have made in my life on par 4s and par 5s, have hit a bunch of iron shots really close, but probably have holed out for an eagle no more than 3 or 4 times in my life.

Many people can talk the talk and look the part, but they can't play a lick. I'm guessing u might fall into that category along with ur butt buddies
Yep. I'm not a good golfer. I'm happy when I play bogey golf but I always have a good time playing with friends and shooting the **** and having a few brews.
If you are as good as you say you are then I have no doubt you'd win. Thing is I only play golf with people I like or people who seem to be fun to hang around with. You don't fit in either category.

Boones Trace National Golf Club, this will be the one and only time I call it by its new name, was in good shape today. Well at least the fairways and greens were. They are redoing all the bunkers so most of them are unplayable right now.
Na u couldn't be more wrong. And funny u mention that because the only reason I replied was because bbdk was talking down to others on this thread and calling them idiots and acting like he was the king and all should bow down to him. Believe it or not, there are other good golfers in Kentucky too.
