Indy is RED hot I wouldn't wanna face them right now. Good luck to Page but I have Indy by at least 2-3 TDs

That makes sense Nepsy. They made some in game adjustments that were great against Butler. Butler wasn’t getting anywhere running out of the pistol formation. Butler specifically when to their wing t under center to run the ball and had great success. Independence noticed that Butler would run towards their sideline or quick dives so they shifted their defense. Plus Butler would never pass out of that formation (which they can) so they stayed committed to stopping that run in that formation. I thought the coaches had them prepared.

Interesting matchup between 2 teams that fell off and making strides to return to their old standings. Once upon a time this was a championship or 4th round matchup. This week's game might bring back that atmosphere

Indy clearly the favorite. For anyone who has seen them play so far this year, where are their weaknesses? What match ups can be exploited?

They have a hard time defending the pass. Catholic and Butler had success throwing the ball on Independence. Page can exploit that if they can. Offensively they are balanced with the run and pass, very fast receivers.

This match up got me thinking earlier. There are some noteworthy parallels on this match up compared to when Page met Independence last time around in 2007 first round of the playoffs. Page was in rebuild mode, much like now, coming off a very close game with Grimsley after the Whirlies won 3 straight against Page.. and Indy was the clear favorite, I remember them having Anthony Carruthers at QB. That was one Tommy Knotts last few years at Indy, I remember he was suspended for that match up, and Geiler filled in as head coach. This time around though, Page and Indy are both on the way up. So it should be a much more competitive game compared to 15 years ago.

Page's young talent will be one year older next year. In a year or two, things are going to get reaaalllyy interesting at "The Ship"
