There used to be an ok Chinese restaurant in Shenandoah. Not a whole lot else.

I would recommend hitting Log Cabin BBQ at the base of Massanutten on Rte. 33.

Ditto for the bar b q idea. That is my usual stop, but there is also a decent home-cooking diner on the northend of Shenandoah. I can't think of the name of it now but it would be only about five minutes before you get to the school. Or if you want to keep it fast and simple, I think the former McDonald's in Shenandoah is now a Burger King.

Mr. Garcia's has just opened in town and of course Mamma Mia's is an option. Rudy's Diner is the place as you are going to the school that will be on your right. Excellent options all. WP02 hasn't been around in quite a while if he still remembers the Chinese place. They've been closed for some years now. Holtzman Oil owns the building and won't sell or rent according to people in the know. Matthew mentioned El Paso but I doubt if folks travelling from Greenville will go all the way to Elkton to eat before tonight's game.

Yeah, that Chinese place had opened up when I was teaching at PCHS in 2006. Not surprised it’s gone, although it was pretty decent. Tell me Log Cabin is still running strong...

The wife and I were just talking about Log Cabin yesterday. Yes, they are still going strong and the food is still great!

Got to know one of the family members who own that place back around 2005 & was amazed that they were pulling all that pork by hand every day. Quality was outstanding.
