I've been a Viking fan for almost 50 years...and I've seen them lose in more ways than seem possible. I feel bad for the kicker...sheet happens. When you settle for fgs all day long it almost always bites you in the azz...even though the Vikes entered the 4th quarter leading 9-0. Just another tough loss for us Viking fans.

That is a rollercoaster of emotions for Vikings fans. I was hoping they would knock off Seattle. Sucks.

Put that kicker in protective custody and suicide watch.

Walsh handled it like a damn man, after last nights debacle, what a relief to see!!

Gotta feel for the kid, it will get lost that he had the only points and it would have been over looked had he made it.

I'm just across the border and always love to see MN sports lose ( happens often ;) ) but non the less that was tough

Hopefully we (Carolina) can do what the Vikings should of done. I'm sick of hearing how good Seattle is!! Let's go panthers bout time something good happens in the playoffs!

I hated for the Vikings even though I was wanting Seattle to win. I would have been pulling for either one over the Panthers. I live near charlotte but just can't make myself pull for them. I don't hate them by any means, just so many fair weather fans around it makes me sick. When they are winning they are the biggest panthers fans around, when they are sucking they are Cowboy or etc fans, a lot like Tarheel fans.

I'm sick about it. Just sick. I don't really blame Walsh....he made huge kicks all day and season long.

This game was lost on a number players and plays. Munnerlyn should have had Wilson sacked on the broken play that led to Seattle's first TD. AP. He f'n did it again. For as good as he is, the guy fumbles all the time. Our inability to look downfield in today's NFL is an Achilles heel. And then Walsh missing the chip shot.

Everything that could go wrong in the 4th quarter did. Unfortunately, it's what I've come to expect. And then to top it off....the damn Packers win too. They're my basketball version of the Heels.

I feel your pain DJ because my Redskins lost tonight. Hopefully my Panthers win next week. I ended this week at 2-2 in my playoff picks. I was right with both of my picks yesterday but I was wrong with both my picks today. lol

I'm a Panthers fan and have been since they played their first season and watch them every week win or lose unless I'm not at home but I agree that there are a lot of Panthers fans that only cheer when they win. I've got a friend that's a Titans fan but he posts more statuses about the Panthers and Panthers fans than he posts about the Titans and whenever someone calls him on it, he always says he's not hating on the Panthers because he really likes them and he pulls for them other than the Titans but yet he's always trashing the Panthers saying every week that they're going to lose even though they keep winning.

Sports can be mighty mighty tough at times!!!! Any die hard whose had a heart breaker like such can only take so much enjoyment out of events like that.

Unless it's the Heels and one of their smug avg athletes getting what they deserve ;) ;)

It can only hurt so bad when ya have multiple teams. Guessing DJ's in a little different fandom situation

People cheering for fantasy/pick reasons have NO CLUE what tough losses truly means. Soul reason I dislike fantasy.....fantasy "fans"

I hear ya crazie. I live in the Charlotte area and these are the most fair weather bandwagon fans I've ever seen. When they're losing they're ready to fire Rivera and trade Newton. Never seen so many "lifelong" fans in my life. I can't stand Seattle but please Seahawks, handle your business Sunday. These "fans" really remind me if the holes.

My team always wins in the end. True, my Vikings and my Redskins lost yesterday. But, my Seahawks and my Packers advanced. If either of those teams lose next week, it will be OK because they're playing my Panthers and my Cardinals. And in the Super Bowl, my NFC team will play either my Steelers, my Broncos, my Patriots or my Chiefs (which takes the sting out of the losses suffered by my Texans and my Bengals).

Everybody saying a lot of panthers fans are fair-weather (which I don't disagree with, I see A LOT more panthers stuff around now then ever before) but if you wanna see the true bandwagon fan group look at Seattle. I can honestly say before they won the super bowl I knew a total of 0 Seattle fans and didn't even ever see there gear around. Now that's THE team I see most.
Luckily win lose or draw I've been a panthers fan since the first season. I'm only 25 so I really don't even remember football without them LOL. My secondary team has been the steelers since then as well since my dad was a steelers fan before we got a team

JR Sweezy is from nearby which is only 20 minutes from charlotte so I imagine a lot of those Seahawks fans are fans of his, which is ok.
