School is out today due to the storm from yesterday that resulted in yet another round of trees down, power outages etc. They're areas in Pamlico County still without power from Hurricane Florence, which was a month ago.
Hopefully they can get power back within the next few hours. The community would love nothing more than to play and get back on a routine of normalcy, especially the folks that have been without power for a month.
Pamlico High just announced the game is on, 7 pm kick. Good for the folks over there to be able to get their mind off the devastation for a few hours. Should be a good one.
They're a huge underdog in this one, no surprise. Luckily, Pamlico doesn't have to go through Tarboro in the playoffs.

Mannnnnnn You are not from the Pamlico area....Pamlico had lights since Florence.They did lost lights but got it back... They only lost lights yesterday due to Micheal. Kids have been going to school until today smh
My man, I’m minutes away over the bridge. My coworker lives in Fairfield Harbour which still does not have power and her house has to be condemned. Take a step back and Re-read the post. I never said the school had not gone back to school, I said folks in that area, still do not have power, from Florence. Smh.

Never said the county hadn’t had school, I said a lot of the county haven’t had power, big difference.
Only comment I’ve made in regards to the result of the game was that Tarboro was the most impressive team I’ve seen this year. No where have I offered up excuses. I said before the game they were going to lose by 40-50 points. You’re looking for an argument, I don’t have one to give you.
