Paolo Banchero could reclassify to 2020

Do we have room for him? We're obviously interested in him as part of the '21 class, but if he reclassifies, I don't know.

We have more than enough room. We need 5-6 more players IMOP to go with Baker, AOC, Jordan, Roach and Johnson. Cannot see any of the 2019 freshman staying 2 years.
Plus he also fills a need at the 4 spot. This is probably a good move by all. I’d always heard it was a possibility that Baldwin moves up (seems unlikely given his dad’s statements) but Banchero would be nice instead.
So:
Roach, Clarke/Steward/O'Connell, Johnson, Banchero, Kessler?
That starting five would be utterly ridiculous.
Edit: I can't find the link but Banchero had an all-time quote in an interview where he was asked about Duke:
"Duke just seems kinda bigger and badder than a lot of schools."

My one concern with that would be shooting. I don’t think any of them are knock down shooters besides AOC and he’s not always consistent
I thought the same thing but the sheer talent...

But Kessler and Banchero are capable long-range shooters aren't they?
Yeah i think they’re capable of it but can’t rely on them for it. Sort of like carter and bagley. They took them but idk if those are the guys you really want taking them. Wendell shot pretty good from there and i feel like Kessler will too. Idk much about poalo. I think He can but it’s not consistent. Like bagley I’m guessing.
I think we’re (for good reason) shell-shocked by last year’s 30% performance. My guess is that this trend won’t continue and the amount of 3’s taken would decrease if there was any indication that the team couldn’t shoot.

Let’s not forget, after a certain point this season, there were two guys driving, Zion and RJ. When this team was at its best, we had 4 attackers. Shooting wasn’t as much of a concern.
The key moving forward with this 5 out that K wants to end his career with has to be 4-5 attackers available. That proposed squad has it.

Totally disagree. Think Moore and Stanley definitely come back and honestly think Carey will have a difficult decision at the end of the year.
Hope you are right but I would be shocked if Carey who is ranked 6th stays. Stanley at 36th could stay for 2 yrs like Kyle Guy did{37th] or he could leave like Tyler Herro did{37th].
Would love to have Moore stay.
I totally agree. A lot of people are just counting Wendell and Cassius off the roster for next year. I don’t think that’s such a sure thing. As for Vern his game just doesn’t translate well to the nba. He’s got some outside game but his defense isn’t all that great and his body isn’t what most teams will want. Ultimately i think he has a great season for us and goes anyway but there is a very very small percentage he could possibly return.
Not to rain on anyone’s parade, but I think anyone is dreaming that think the freshmen coming in this season will become sophomores. Too much exposure at Duke. I think all fans should expect all of them to go after their freshman season.
