It would have worked if our coaching staff was competent.
1. Recruited the correct players based on Pike’s philosophy
2. If not, used players he ended up recruiting correctly and utilized their strengths.
Stop with the freshman can’t win bs Duke wins with freshman, as do other schools. Pike did a terrible job this year, plain and simple.

Yup. When will folks realize that, this is more than a coaching problem. We have a RUTGERS problem, and this cycle will repeat itself until a fundamental culture change happens here. The upcoming university president and AD hires will go a long way in determining whether that happens or not.

RU needs to, once and for all, get out of its own way. Considering the politics and egos involved in this state... good luck.

What other schools win led by many freshman, if you remove those with 5 top 40 kids coupled w upper class leadership?
