Parker has a lot of ground to make up. I wouldn’t completely count the kid out though. Hopefully he can get healthy and get it figured out.

No source, totally a guess... but I wouldn't be surprised if he transfers. He's hurt and going to have a lot of ground to make up. If he puts his head down and works his *** off and gets some playing time this year and makes some noise, I'll be impressed and then I think he's N, but I wouldn't be surprised if, in this day and age, he wants a fresh start next year. Hope I'm wrong.

You think he'll transfer because he was dinged up in fall camp his true freshman year? Come on now. If he transfers it will be because he proves to be not a talented as other backs on the roster, not because he missed a few practices early in his career. I wouldn't be surprised if he redshirted, though.

The fact of the matter is that coaches will always be recruiting with an eye of over-recruiting the current roster. If they can land a freshman that will play right away, they will do that. If NUs offense trends up under Holgerson, better skill talent will kick the tires on the program when it comes to recruiting and the transfer portal. If I’m Parker, i’m right where I want to be. He needs to get his body right and start competing in the room. Once he’s there, he can then make a decision that is best for him. Maybe some injuries open things up for him like they did for EJ his red shirt freshman year. Maybe he transfers. But he won’t know until he’s healthy enough to compete.

If I’m Parker, I’m thinking about how I think I will rate against the other RBs when I’m healthy and prepared. And do I feel like I can be developed here. If those are both positives, then I’m likely to stick barring some NIL tampering.

Sure he might transfer but every quality program stacks RBs. No film, injured, reportrd as arriving in less than great shape… not exactly big selling features to prospective teams.

He’s been hurt for like 8 months

We moved a WR to RB

Seems like a potential redshirt, sadly
