Just realized that the new charge increase parking passes to 83 dollars per game . Pretty steep especially for those of us who throw tickets to two or so games a year. Maybe time to approach the problem differently .

Almost like MB doesn't want tailgaters .

They know that, and they know that we know that. My question is whether they understand that the harder it gets to park, and the more they tighten up and charge more, the less people are going to put up with mediocre football. I love Stoops and think he's headed in the right direction, but I am not sure I want to spend $3000 this year for what I can see on TV for free.

And that's only part of it. After 20 years of moving from the upper deck in the corner to down where I wanted to be, and earning two passes along the way (1 for my wife and I and 1 for my father who lived 90 miles away) they completely blew that out of the water last year. I got moved from the spot I loved around people I wanted to be around, to a cattle call location in the middle of a bunch of people I don't know. Then they took one of my passes because "I only had 4 tickets" and offered to let me keep it if I bought 2 more tickets. Absolutely alienated a fan who has sat through a bunch of terrible football but continued to pay to help make it a winner. No more.
You have my sympathies, truly.

Mitch may be the worst AD in the country when it comes to fan relations.

The number of gaffes he has committed in regard to outright insulting fans, sticking his foot in his mouth, and acting holier-than-thou is incomprehensible.

It's no wonder he absolutely sucks as a fundraiser.
