Not really. Look at the betting odds to win it all. There are about as many CFB teams at say, 20 to 1 or better (+2000), as there are NFL.

The ‘actual’ results say otherwise - I ran numbers of actual SuperBowl vs NCAA National Champions and since about 2000 the NFL has at least a half dozen more winners than College Football, and the numbers get worse when you look at the teams who actually ‘participate’ in the playoffs/NC game.

Can you show me your numbers? Since (and including) 2000, I count 14 different NFL teams and 12 different CFB teams.

Heard from a guy in the know that the franchise owner for the SC location wanted 51% of the profits when the verbally agreed upon percentage was 33%. Pat’s decided to pull out of the deal. They weren’t going to give away their “name” for less then was previously agreed.

Man I don't want to hear it. This is like the second year in a row the Rays were eliminated before I knew the playoffs started. They were so good this year too.

Dog turds.

Don't feel bad. Judging by attendance numbers, no one else in Tampa knew the playoffs started either.

Well, we got one game, and it was in the afternoon on a Tuesday. Who's going to an afternoon baseball game on a Tuesday? People have jobs.

I'd say the players didn't know it started either.

Your point still stands, obviously, since their attendance has been made a national joke and their performance was pathetic.
