PHILADELPHIA — The Golden State Warriors were deprived of the joy they thought they’d leave Xfinity Mobile Arena with Thursday after Pat Spencer gave them a four-point lead with 1:12 to play against the Philadelphia 76ers.
With the Warriors up one and their stars inactive, he stepped into a triple and silenced the crowd — barking, “I’m that motherf—er!” as he bounced in celebration toward the opposite baseline.

“His head coach realized that Pat is that motherf—er,” Kerr said postgame at Rocket Arena “I was getting the inkling. It was starting to creep in. But I didn’t realize until he told the world and tonight, it was very clear.”
