Again, this. Why do folks think getting the 1 seed in the south with UK as the 2 playing in Louisville would be anything but an unmitigated disaster? If UK wins out, which is no mean feat with a game in Knoxville and a tough SECT, they would get the 1 seed in the south, pushing us to the 1 seed in the Midwest probably with MSU or UM or even KU as our 2s and 3s. That would be better than being number 1 in the south with UK as our 2.

Welcome to a world where we are now pulling for UK to win out so they get the 1 seed in the south, pushing us to 1 in the west. Maybe UT if they won out would get the 1 seed in the south. If that happens, we are playing the Midwest with UK as our 2 in Kansas city, which isn't a huge drive for UK.

There is a strong chance that if UK isn't a 1 seed, they are our 2 seed, and I'd prefer for that to happen outside of Louisville.
