Is Bates Jones that emergency 10th man? He's not a walk on, is he? Didnt he have some productive games as a senior? Could he play a Reggie Love like kind of role? If he can, and, Blakes can hold his own in a pinch, I feel much better.
To me, a lot hinges on whether Blakes can play D like a sophomore Goldwire and be able to knock down uncontested 3s and not be overwhelmed on O.
And then there's Joey. So many of our worries simply go out the window if Joey can shoot like he is capable of.

Jaxson Robinson from Tx AM and Rocket Watts from Michigan State are available but you still have the problem of is there enough PT ?
Robinson has potential. It was a good suggestion. I googled and learned that jaxson Robinson signed with Arkansas last week

If Bates can contribute that is a huge plus. In the video I saw he did have a nice stroke from 3. Plus he's a 5th year senior. Maybe a Vrank type role.

Much better than Goldwire or Vrank. I just hope he stays until he’s a senior.

Bates or Blakes Timo?
If Bates Jones is much better than Vrank, then he is a great pickup and really fills out our roster nicely.

Well, if Blake's is much better than Goldwire, he should be a solid contributor this year, making for a really good 8 man rotation, and Joey makes 9.

Just don’t get why we didn’t make a hard push for him, and before people say that there wasn’t any space for him keep in mind that Gonzaga now has Nembhard and two incoming 5* PGs.

Relationships. I mean, nine times out of 10 these teams know whether or not they have a chance at something. My guess is they had a pretty strong feel Hickman wasn’t in the cards.

These staffs and recruiters, believe it or not, are probably a little more privy to stuff than the guys at DI.

Whatever happened to this Chad Lykins guy who flipped his Crystal Ball pick late to Baldwin? If nothing else I will never take this guy seriously again.
