Patrick Towles- Johnny Unitas Award Watchlist

Saw that Patrick Towles is on the Unitas Award watch list. Just curious as to what you guys think being that he could still be your QB.

Patrick has all the tools to be a very good QB. unfortunately he couldn't be coached by our current QB coach and staff. Poor kid had to suffer through 3 different scheems at KY

Towles had to endure a lot. Can't say he didn't try.

Hope he does we'll. But if any of the spring game reports are accurate, he'll be lucky to be the starter let alone win any awards

Well I guess now he's considered one of the best 16 senior QB's in the country after being one of the 16 selected on the watch list for the 2017 Senior Bowl in Mobile Alabama.

Then why transfer?

I don't get him, YES Shannon Dawson was a debacle...but why transfer?.....just asking, did he think, Barker would surpass him!?

I mean coming out of Highlands...yes they have produced quality QB's....Jared of course, Gino and Patrick...I just think Patrick pulled the trigger way too early, to transfer...h*ll Woodson, outtakes North Hardin played behind Curtis Pulley...look how Woodson turned out....
