That's a disappointment. A FL 4* RB commits to UC over UK? Especially looking at our roster next year, there should be plenty of opportunities to get snaps. UC going to B12 probably helps but no way does the B12 compare to the SEC for quality and nationwide interest. It's not like he's an OH kid - that I would understand somewhat. But, if he wanted to be in the B12, why not UCF? Very curious. I know we were after him pretty hard and many thought he'd land here.

What other RBs are there on our board? Will we wait for late developers and/or transfer? We'll have a hole or two to fill in the RB room next year. Could really use another RB.

He voluntarily decided to play for Satterfield? I'd say he isn't the brightest kid and probably doesn't want the challenge of the SEC.

I couldn’t think less of Satterfield, but UC played in the playoff not too long ago. They are a very good program. They have had quite a lot of success over the last 10-15 years. It’s not too surprising someone would want to go play there. It being a Florida kid is a little surprising though.

I just don't understand why so many get upset over a recruit that plays for a 1A school in Florida, the smallest classification, with 365 students. Further more he's not a 4* on any off the following, 247, On3, Rival or Sports Illustrated, I didn't check ESPN I don't consider them relevant. I figure he didn't think he would get much playing time at UK with the talent already here.

For all I know this guy may end up in college HOF but my question is if he's elite why didn't any of the Florida football schools offer him? No FSU, no UF, no Miami, not even UCF. Best in-state offer was USF. I hope the guy has a good career and gets his education but I'm not fretting over his decision.

I totally understand your points. However, despite his lack of offers, the reason I'd say it's a disappointment is the UK staff had clearly targeted him as a priority, and I trust the staff's ability to find under-recruited talent... especially at RB. The last stud RBs here were under-recruited 3 star RBs they recruited.

Here's to hoping they can find another guy in the mold of Benny & CROD.

Actually the size of a school has ZERO to do with a players talent. Tim Coach, Craig Yeast, Dennis Johnson, and countless other players that became stars were from tiny schools .

Let's not forget Herschel Walker who came from a very small HS.
