Interesting. He just follows the blueprint someone else left and that's all he needs to do? Sorry, can't buy it. He is a better coach than some give him credit for. I wouldn't use the word "great" for him but you also can't simply credit it all to Barry. There is a formula that works, there was one at Nebraska and Frost is attempting to replicate it. Chryst has won a lot of games and right now they own us and we have to admit it. I don't see that changing anytime soon but if it makes everyone feel better, just keep putting down a very successful program. Last I looked, ours was no where close to theirs.

Oh Gawd, please please let that be true.

Uh, no. Alvarez saw what a nincompoop Eichorst was and realized he was the perfect Trojan Horse to unload on Perlman. Chryst was a willing accomplice by suggesting Riley to Eichorst. Why anyone in a leadership role at NU thought taking advice from a conference rival would be in NU's best interest still baffles me.
I don’t normally buy into conspiracy theories but the Eichorst-Wisconsin connection was just so weird I had a feeling that it was an attempt to sabotage Nebraska in some way. It was probably paranoia on my part but my gut tells me something strange about it almost like a Lord of the Rings Saruman/Wormtongue/King Theoden sort of thing.
