In a week it will be old news just like the shoot out..

You may very well be right but Teflon Turtleneck Tommy is developing a chink in his armor. He's got skeletons in his closet galore and unlike the local media the national media isn't afraid of the clown. It may fade away but he's falling out of favor since he's being exposed for who he really is.

IF and when the local media ever grows a pair and starts playing up their indescretions something may come outof this but until this sure jurich's reaction will be- "who cares what you guys think?"

It will be more background noise with more schools involved...up to 3 schools involved now...Louisville, Ar,y and Virginia Tech.

Best thing for Louisville is Army having apparently received info as well. It's difficult for many to be mad at West Point. That being said, the receiving and (attempted) use of the info is not what has national college football types buzzing about UofL in this case. It is Jurich's utterly ridiculous, indefensible press release. Compare his release to the one Virginia Tech sent out yesterday and you'll understand why Jurich is being hammered and there's much less talk about VT. The press release is making lots of national observers further question the way Jurich and UofL operate.

OTOH Army might struggle against WF, UL should be able to turn ITS plays over to WF and still win. UL was in the perfect position to tell Elrod to take a hike and contact Clausen to inform he had a rat in his house.

in what manner did Army and Va. Tech get outed? Did they confess or did someone tell on them? Once it came out, did they deny they did it or try to blame someone else, or even say "well, they didn't run the plays so it really wasn't cheating"?

Completely agree on this...can't argue but said I will not defend them on this

They confessed after the fact and in Virginia Tech case they might have had the entire gameplan...rumor that the case but not certain

Army will have to deal with their honor code on this. Could make for quite a mess with this - and how would that make UL look if Army is taking huge measures.

Guess you can now be proud with the "well look it's just not us excuse"

No....just stating how it works in the media...it will fade as time goes on and it is on to the next story nationally...probably as soon as tomorrow when Bowl season kicks off...not to mention the Minnesota situation.

That is true and Jurich has been right on the "they will talk about it for a week and move on"
I think and I am not trying to be an ***. How could a Univ. keep accepting these things that occur, Is their not any form of decency at all? I mean you have RP who has sex on a table, pays for abortions, Prostitutes being paid and delivered by staff, over doses in dorms, President embezzling money, has his cronies do work, Yum center is going under. This week they pay off 2 so called professors one for 1.5 million and the other for 500,000.
I won't even get in the FB program and Bobby, I mean there have been drug arrests, transfers with the kid who was a domestic threat at TCU, the shooting this weekend.
Are there any UL fans or people in city to say enough is enough? There has to be some sort of moral in UL fans. I am not holier than thou, it makes no difference to the people who are not even embarrassed.

^^This^^
Virginia Tech only reported the incident in the 2014 season and not the two following seasons. Have you looked at Wake's 2014 schedule? Eventually it'll be released that Elrod leaked it to more schools that season. My theory is that some of those coaches approached him in the 2015 and 2016 seasons as well for those games and he complied with their requests. Galloway was comfortable with taking the edge all 3 seasons and would've kept doing it.

Jimbo Fisher at Florida State had some interesting comments this week about Wakey Leaks and if he had ever heard of something similar to it:

"Yes, (smiled) and that's all I'm going to say."

Where has it been said that UofL had plans for the last 3 years. WF themselves has only mentioned Louisville when it comes to this year. Stick to facts and not what you think and if it is fact I would like to see a link saying so.

I agree it will fade. But it looks much worse for UofL than those other schools involved because they couldn't of handled it any worse. Petrino goes on national radio and denies it happened. A few hours later Jurich says yeah it happened and blew it off as insignificant. And then had the nerve to basically question why it was even being discussed when they had a bowl to prepare for. With as much practice as UofL has had at dealing with scandals, you would think they would be a little better at it. But when you are allowed to skate by with minimal repercussions for your actions, you begin to feel you are above the law/rules.

The facts are Louisville head coach Bobby Petrino, who has a history of lying and being deceptive, lied again not once but twice on National Television.

I guess The "changed man" theory Jurich used when he hired Petrino lasted less than three full years

You mad bro?

You know where this is going, so there isn't any point with the continued denials. There's no way a ticked off former-employee waits 3 years to give information to a buddy. WF is keeping quiet on their front, but Va Tech's message yesterday is the key to the severity. The information has been given to the schools and right now the ADs are trying to figure out the depth of each program's involvement.

Why don't you just jump ship now and cheer for the #BBN? There is no sense to drown in those tears with a fully functional life raft available. Just tell us what you know and when you knew it. :)

The problem is that you still have at least 2-3 scandals / negative headlines already in the works:

1. The shooting. Silence is very suspicious, i think that will not turn out well for you.

2. The 2013 banner. Still could come down (or more serious punishments could be coming).

3. Did Petrino lie when he said he didn't know anything about Wakeyleaks? Eventually someone is going to start looking at that...

These are just the three that we already know about..

1. It turned out well since nobody died...let the investigation go forward.

2. Banner...don't really care if it comes down or not...that the NCAA call. If it comes down so be it

3. Apparently both Wake and Louisville fudged the truth...Petrino on not knowing and Wake coach changing which day he found out...initially it was Friday and this morning 1 hour before the game.

That certainly has worked great for Jurich and Transfer U in the past.

By the way, do you know if jurich is still sending Willie lobster tails in prison?

What a surprise, I bet no one ever thought that would ever happen the way it was set up.

Yesterday, Finebaum said Pitino, Jurich and Petrino should all be fired. He said Pitino should have been fired after the Sypher incident.

Right. And in UL's case it has gone from outright lying with the camera pointed at you to oh, it was only a few plays and they were irrelevant. Did jurich sit in on all the coaches meetings, how does he know so much about it?

Or is he taking that liar's word for it again? That could get him in trouble, like it did BP thinking that jurich would cover for him.

Funny that Jurich always says bad press lasts a few days and everyone moves on. This is going to have many legs to it, ACC is going to have to do something. Reason why UL is prominently mentioned is that it is undeniable that they used the information, not some passing phone call etc. It is fact they had hard copy notes and used. I have heard most of the schools were offered but laughed it off or did not want to get involved. Apparently the connection with asst. at UL flew off page and was no way to hide the evidence that UL used this information. Texts, emails, faxes, documents both in Wake's sight and at UL.

Think all of this will affect how the NCAA judges later with sanctions, think this will be big when ACC looks a this and NCAA.
Think it's funny about the Jurich motto about news lasts few days and it's forgotten. This Heisman victory and celebration sure was forgotten by Sunday with the shooting and most definitely Monday with Wakey. It is so funny.
