Paul Finebaum mea culpa

[Catch1lion]

I never thought I would hear it.

[bluewhiteapos]

It’s different now that everybody is paying players.

[Nittering Nabob]

I never thought I would hear it.

And to think he once considered a run for the U.S. Senate

[razpsu]

Wait until they play 9 games finally. During bama and ga run those two teams didn’t play each other in the regular season 10 out of 12 years!! Imagine if osu Mich and psu had done that during the same time period.

[Chumboshifko1]

I never thought I would hear it.

Finebum is still an A opening.

[NittPicker]

It was strange seeing Finebaum act like a reasonable person.

[psuno1]

They will be really crying with a 9 game conference schedule, Nicky Six will be cry for a 4 loss SEC team to get into the playoff.

[Warlerski]

I never thought I would hear it.

Didn't Finebaum say he would leave the country if the B1G won a third straight title? Yeah right.

Finebaum is still an A opening.

Asking for a friend of Paul's

[PSU4U]

I never thought I would hear it.

Probably never happen again. There's a reason he looks like Dumbo.

if Saban immediately quitting once paying players became a thing doesn’t fully convince everyone the SEC (and Bama specifically) only won because they were handing out WinnDixie bags of money and used Dodge Chargers, I don’t know what else to say. None of those schools has a reliable, wealthy alumni base to draw from either (maybe Vandy and/or WF). Indiana does though; so do many B1G schools. And it so much better for the sport.

At least everyone has the same set of rules now. The only wild card is the nil deep pockets of the rich schools versus the less fortunate.
