NFL scouts don't emphasize body composition and some players will carry extra mid-section pounds in order to get at the desired playing weight. Its "good" fat if that helps them play in the trenches, not the kind of tub of blubber you see on some amateur athletes....

Warren Sapp dropped a bit and would have went higher, but some weed allegations surfaced right before the draft.
That's right ...... which reinforces the point that NFL teams will spend a high draft pick for "flawed" prospects if they are convinced that they can perform at a high level. They were more concerned about his use of cannabis than his belt size.
