Interesting team so far. Their metrics are fairly good and indicate a playoff level team yet they are struggling with a .500 record and find themselves just short of a playoff spot. If they get the power play straightened out (the one very poor metric) they can be very competitive.

The Penguins have caught lightning in a bottle in the second half of the season more than once over the years. This season has that feel. Of course, in the end your goalie has to be consistently sharp.
