Penn State #22 Coaches Poll

[KingLando]

They hate us less than this board hates us lol

2026 College Football Rankings - ESPN

Oh, we're higher than UCLA and Va Tech which will cause some anger

EDIT: Unranked in the AP--still more votes than Va Tech though lol

[Big_O]

I am surprised. I thought they would fall out of the top 25.

They're essentially pro athletes--you blow a 17-0 lead when a lot of people spent a ton of money to attend a game they're not going to be happy
A good look for our fans? No--but I'm guessing that's pretty standard in 2026

I stayed through the singing of "For the Glory". There was no booing and lots of students even cheered as they left the field. People talking about this on Twitter are talking about 20 - 30 people who were on their way out of the stadium. The poster could gave chosen to post the hundreds of students singing and cheering but that would not have gotten him near the number of hits.

That’s absurd; they have no business even sniffing the top 25.

Not saying you're wrong but the "experts" in the coaches poll disagree
We're not as bad as we think we are today--we're also not great

This team looks like the Dark year teams, not a lot of talent on both sides of the ball.
