141 QF- Aaron Nagao vs. Yuta Otero (UT-C)

Period 1:

Otero is still down. Caution on Nagao, false start. Nagao throws a boot in immediately. Otero stands up, but Nagao trips him back down & tries to hit a tilt. Otero works back to his base & time expires. 8-1 Nagao

I was going to until I saw i either have to drop $29 for a month or over 120 something bucks for the year. Thought I'd find a free trial. Ill just keep the big ten/big ten plus subscription for the meat of the schedule and listen to the radio for the early season stuff like I have done previously. It's nostalgia anyways. My grandfather used to listen to all of the matches on the radio. Better commentary that way anyways
My dad and I put a huge antena up their roof so he could listen on the AM station that used to have all the matches. If the weather interfered he would drive to State College to listen on the car radio.
These were for away matches. If it was a home match he (usually with me) was in Rec Hall.

184 QF- Asher Cunningham David Barrett (ARMY)

Period 1:
Circling, hand fighting & brief tie ups. Barrett tries a straight on blast double. Asher counters & they go out of bounds. Barrett is bleeding now or injured. He's down on the mat & it looks like a leg injury. Back to action. Barrett drives forward with an underhook. Asher works free. Tying up in the center. Asher reaches for an ankle, but can't get there. Barrett locks around the head. Asher works to his feet & reaches for the legs. Barrett hangs on to the head & it's stopped for potentially dangerous. Now, Asher is bleeding & we're stopped again. Technical difficulties on mat 3 & the feed is gone now.

Back to action. Asher is on top & it's 3-0, then the period ends. 3-0 Asher, +1:03 RT

Period 2:
Asher takes down. Barrett throws a boot in. Asher counters, squares up & gets a reversal, 5-0. The scoreboard says, 6-0, but I don't know why. Asher has both boots in & Barrett is bellied out. Asher is looking for a tilt, but it's stopped for potentially dangerous. Barrett is still down. The ref goes over to the table for some reason. Now, the scoreboard says Asher has only 12-sec RT, who knows? Wait, it just changed to 42-sec RT. What's next? Cody makes his way over to the table now. Does anyone know what's going on? Now the score is changed to 8-1 Asher. 37-sec left in the 2nd. Wait, score is changed to 6-0 Asher now & Cody is at the table. I got no clue what's going on here, but now it's 7-0 Asher. That's where we settle. Back to action. Barrett is still down. Barrett gets injured quickly after the restart & we're stopped again. This is a barn burner. I should have covered a different match. lol

Back to action. Now, it's 8-0 Asher. He drops to a leg & is working to finish, but the period expires. 8-0 Asher, +36-sec RT

Period 3:
Barrett takes neutral. Circling & tying up. Barrett drives forward with an underhook & reaches for a leg, but they go out of bounds, restart. Asher drops to a leg. Barrett locks around the waist. Asher keeps coming & finishes the TD on the edge, 11-0. Out of bounds & restart. Barrett is still down. Asher immediately throws in a boot & it's stopped for PD. Asher throws in another boot. Barrett squares up. Asher locks through the crotch. Asher keeps working & rides out the period. He adds a RT point for the 12-0 Major.
