Nice job, @GregPickel. There are so many matches one could see going either way.

The 157 match is such an interesting one to look at. You mentioned that Iowa's Jacori Teemer missed 4 Iowa duals. That's correct, though I'd provide some context to that. He got injured in the Iowa - Iowa St. dual on 11/23/24. He didn't return to competition until the Iowa - Ohio State dual this past weekend, on 1/25/25. So he was basically out 2 months with a leg injury.

I've always liked Teemer, and followed him in HS as PSU was involved with him. I was disappointed when he elected to head west for Arizona St. Speed has always been one of the strengths of Teemer, in both his shots and his defense. I didn't see the Ohio State dual, where he defeated Sammy Sasso, 10-5, so I don't know how he looked. I wonder if his speed has been impacted by the injury. He certainly didn't seem to think so in his interview after the Sasso dual, but athletes rarely admit to anything like that.

I57 is another match where I keep going back-and-forth while I try to pick a winner.

If Teemer isn’t 💯 I wouldn’t be surprised for him not to wrestle. Brands mentioned matches with seeding implications. I could see them trying to protect his 1 seed.

Already has a loss. Number #1 seed may be gone already. Injury default.

Depending on when match starts

I could see Teemer and or Alaya sit.

if it starts at 125 they both wrestle if they start @ 65 I could see them both sitting.

I could also see them forfeit 285 so Ben isn't used as the mop to clean the mat

PSU wins 8 matches tomorrow and continues their dominance over the Inbred Iowans.

PSU's only losses come at 133# and 149#

I like Barr over Buchanan for the upset of the night.
