I'm setting this up in advance, so that everybody has the details they may need.

Please use the thread for all pre-match, in-match, and post-match discussion for the 2025 PSU - Lehigh dual.

When:
Dec. 7, 1:00 pm EST

Where:
Rec Hall, State College, PA

TV:
none

Video Streaming:
Subscribers of BTN+ can watch a video stream of the match.

Audio Streaming:
The radio PBP, with Jeff Byers at the mic, will be streamed for free. The pre-match portion of the broadcast will begin at 12:40 pm EST, with the actual dual taking place at 1:00 pm EST. You can access the audio stream at:

gopsusports.com

Lion Vision

gopsusports.com

gopsusports.com

Once there, scroll down, find Wrestling: Lehigh, and press the arrow in the button to the left of that text.

PBP:
I'm completely out for play-by-play (not out like I was on Friday, where I ended up stepping in for a bit). I'll completely miss the dual, both on BTN+ and LionVision, as I'll be reffing. Both @GregPickel and @SlipperyPete indicated that they'll be available for PBP, so we should have good coverage. That said, we always encourage others to participate, and post thoughts about things that happen in the dual.

Not sure if it's been discussed but Crookham out for the year with torn labrum. Crookham's father has been on Santoro and the Lehigh staff is tired of fathers actions and complaints. I was told he may never wrestle again for Lehigh because of the situation. He has 3 years of eligibility.

All kidding aside, that's a perfect match. Iowa does not have a 133 next year with Ayala gone. At all.

Well, they could bump up Cruz or DeLuca, but they want to keep DeLuca at 125, and they like Cruz so much that they imported Peterson.
So what you are saying is the best lightweight room in the country after this year can't even put a wrestler they developed out on the mat at 125 or 133?

RS 17, did you get that rumor from Pat Mineo's Facebook page? There is no evidence of a ban or an end to Ryan's Lehigh career due to his father's actions or complaints

DeLuca will hold one spot, 125 if he can hold it.

Cruz not so much -- and he was an import too.

@CTStall was the one who put that out, and he's connected in the Lehigh Valley. He's also the one who (on the old board) told us Crookham was choosing Lehigh over PSU.

It's not exactly a secret that there were tensions between those camps last year, when Crookham got hurt in December and Santoro wanted him to return. Crookham's dad wanted his son to fully heal.

It's a less than ideal situation here. Crookham has missed significant parts of at least 2 years at Lehigh due to injury, and a parent might reasonably ask why. OTOH he also lost a year of HS due to injury, so maybe it's not Santoro.

I do know some inner circle Lehigh Valley coaches and parents. I'm being vague on purpose with some of my knowledge about a couple of Lehigh Valley kids in college . Santoro/Rey were just at the BECA /Emmaus match. Emmaus upset BECA. Emmaus has a couple of kids that are real good.

Trust me, all of those things are covering every other inch of this house.
I have a soon to be 5 year-old German Shepherd that has 3 stuffed lambs and a stuffed Santa that she carries around and will use as a pillow. Every time my wife gets her a new one because the older one looks a little ragged, the dog gets it out of the garbage and brings it in and puts it on her bed. Her toy box is full of chew toys, bones, balls and her frisbee. The dog will lay there and watch as my wife puts her toys in her toy box and after my wife is done the dog will wait a bit until my wife is done doing everything and the dog will get the toy box, lift it up turn it upside down to dump everything out and then pick a toy out.

For what it’s worth. Basch saying he heard Seymour “super sick.”

if that’s the case, it is what it is.

Instead of a bunch of early out of conference duals where opponents sit, Cael should hold a couple open tournaments in the fall semester at BJC where anyone can wrestle (including guys that have graduated) and that has prize money for placements to attract better guys. Get a couple sponsors and make it a money maker for the program and get our guys better opponents that will actually show up and compete.

We once counted 8 dog beds in our house. For 1 dog. This does not count her 2 primary beds -- the bed she allows my wife and I to use, and the bed she allows guests to use.

Before we got her, I referred to my wife as The Boss. Not any more.

Taylor looked severely impeded by the huge knee brace he was wearing on Friday.
