My schedule is a mess the next 24 hours. I'm currently away from home helping out with a grandchild, while the parents have work obligations. I'm returning home late tonight. Then, I have to get up at the crack of dawn and get to Philadelphia in time for the Eagles' championship parade. I'm not sure when I'll get back home from that. So, to make sure the thread actually gets posted, I'm doing so more than 24 hours before the dual.

Please use the thread for all pre-match, in-match, and post-match discussion for the PSU - Ohio State dual.

When:
Feb. 14, 7:00 pm EST

Where:
Covelli Center, Columbus, OH

TV:
BTN

Video Streaming:
Those that are subscribers of the BTN can stream the video via the Fox Sports App

Audio Streaming:
The radio PBP, with Jeff Byers at the mic, will be streamed for free. The pre-match portion of the broadcast will begin at 6:40 pm EST, with the actual dual taking place at 7:00 pm EST. GoPSUsports.com changed their web site, and I've yet to figure out how to get the URLs in advance for the audio stream. Go to:

gopsusports.com

Lion Vision

gopsusports.com

gopsusports.com

Once there, click on the button to the left of Wrestling: Ohio State

PBP:
I hope to be able to do PBP. The combination of it being Valentine's Day, and my being at the Eagles parade, have the potential to screw things up for me. I believe @GregPickel will also be adding coverage. And I always encourage others to participate in the coverage.

Enjoy the parade, Tom! I'll be watching on TV and living vicariously through whatever updates you post afterward, and then here for the match. Safe travels!

Someone will correct me if I'm wrong but I don't think I am: Sure looks like Braeden Davis drilling in the top left corner photo in this tweet:

I know he was nicked, but didn't someone on the board hear at a meet that he had a skin infection? Maybe they gave him a little extra time off after that too?

According to the Rivals board, the scooter incident was confirmed by Casey at the pre-match social.

I realize that you can’t bubble wrap your athletes, but if I were a coach, the electric scooters would be verboten. First off, they are not legal in Pennsylvania on public streets or sidewalks. Secondly, they are inherently more risky than bikes in high traffic areas like campus. You would be surprised at how many athletes I see on those scooters when they already have a foot in a boot or knee heavily wrapped. I used to cringe every time I saw RBY weave in and out of traffic as he zipped down Beaver Ave.

I would have thought that the University would have started to enforce the rules after the first lawsuit, but it looks like it will take a few more.

I'm home. 7 years ago, after the Birds' 1st Super Bowl win, I got up long before dawn, used public transportation to get into the city, walked a good bit, but was able to set up at the Art Museum, so that I could see the ceremony. It was a blast, but I was there for hours before anything happened. (There was a TV where I was set up, so that I got to watch a replay of the game, as well as see the progress of the buses on the parade route.) This time, I was near the start of the parade. It was a blast to be there, but it's a lot of build up of excitement, and then about 15 minutes of buses going by with players, spouses, executives, etc. A bunch of players got off the buses and were interacting with the crowd. Nolan Smith shotgunned a beer can about 2 feet from me. (He was so much bigger up close than he appears on TV.)

Definitely a fun time, and now I get to enjoy the ceremony speeches in comfort.

That's a good deal, Tom! Good stuff. Glad you got to see that part of the festivities.

Correction - Casey said it was a scooter and Bike accident. He did not specify which conveyance Braeden was operating and nobody thought to follow-up. Mea culpa.

There are electric bikes everywhere on campus and there isn’t much holding back by the riders.

125: #7 Luke Lilledahl vs. #21 Brendan McCrone (BM)

Per 1
Luke reaches for an ankle, nothing. Luke's thumb/wrist is still taped. Luke with a head outside single, to a double and spins behind for the TD, 3-0. After a bit, Luke flattens him. BM works up to his feet, and then to his feet, but they are OOB with 1:18 left. BM works up to his feet and Luke trips him back down. RT goes over 1 min. BM to his feet and Luke cuts him, 3-1. Luke with an ankle pick, elevates, and trips down the other leg for a TD, 6-1. BM sits out and get the esc, 6-2. Luke in on a head inside single, BM reaches over the back and grabs an ankle, they scramble, and the buzzer sounds. RT @ 1:17 for Luke

Per 2
Luke takes bottom (I think -- that's where he sets up). BM throws in a boot and has a cross-body ride going. Luke on his base, and started to work up, but gets broken down. BM tilts him with a cradle and has him in trouble, and he gets the pin. Wow. The fall @ 3:58

6-0, tOSU

Monday morning QB, but maybe neutral would have been a better choice to start the 2nd there?
