A heads up, I'm reffing a tournament on Sunday, so I'm out for PBP for the Illinois dual.

Saw Kasak a bunch of times on the sidelines on camera. He looked pretty engaged/lucid. Not saying he doesn’t have a concussion, but I’m starting to think he just busted open that gash on his forehead really bad the other night vs. MD, which probably hurt like h€ll and now just needs time to heal. Atleast I’m hoping that’s the case.

I think it's more likely they're resting him to be safe. He doesn't need the matches.

Agree - Mendez didn't look great in his last match. I like Bartlett in the post season. Should be beat him again in Big 10, that will give him an easier path to the final (if Allirez is seeded 2)

To me, Beau looked more aggressive in that match, even if he didn't take that many more shots.

Just looked like he really wanted it.

JM gets in on a single, Beau with a nice whizzer, and they scramble, nothing. Nothing thru 2 min. No real shots after the one where JM got in. Now JM in on another single, tries to Merkle it, and Beau scrambles and he gets the TD, 3-0. They are OOB with 0:05 left. JM to his fee, but the buzzer sounds. RT @ 0:18 for Beau

Beau takes bottom. Beau slowly works up, and is out in 19 sec, 4-0. No shots thru 1st min. Lots of ear-to-ear. End RT @ 0:01 for JM

Per 3
JM takes bottom. JM up and out in 4 sec, 4-1. RT is not a factor (it's 0:03 for Beau). Beau in on a single, JM with a body lock then a lock through the crotch, they scramble, and a stalemate with 1:08 left. JM with a double, Beau clears it, and they go OOB with 0:32 and a stall warning in Beau. JM sort of shoots, nothing, then Beau shoots, and JM with a nice counter but nothing. JM shoots, blocked. M shoots again, and they go OOB with 0:02 and a stall gallon Beau, 4-2. End A 4-3 DEC for Beau!!!

Beau is just a great tactician..He may not be the most entertaining wrestler to watch, but he is so solid.

Per 1
DD with a double to a single, SVN sprawls, and a stalemate (I missed the time left). SVN in on a single, DD with a whizzer, and he breaks the hold of SVN. 1:30 left. SVN in on a single to a double, back to a single and DD has a whizzer and they go OOB with 1:07 left. End

Per 2
DD takes bottom. He's quickly to his feet, and out in 10 sec, 0-1. DD in on a single, and SVN sprawls and stuffs the head. Stalemate with 1:22 left. DD with a double, lifts, they scramble when they hit the mat, and a stalemate with 0:55 left. Great D by SVN. He got a body lock when he was lifted, and hit a roll when they got to the mat, which prevented the TD. 0:30 left. ESVN shoots a double, but DD backs out. End. RT @ 10 sec for SVN

Per 3
SVN takes bottom. He works up slowly, and is out in 18 sec, 1-1. SVN in on a single, DD locks through the crotch, they scramble, and SVN nearly got behind but DD kicked away. OOB with 1:18 left. This is a fun match. DD sort a shoot, and SVN nearly with a counter, nothing. DD shoots, then SVN counters with a double to a single, and great D by DD, he's now in a split, SVN trying to work up, and he gets the TD with 0:04 left. 4-1 DEC for SVN

Missed the first two matches last night. The brick that was thrown on the Davis-Bousakis scramble gave Davis the rest he needed to win that match. I don’t think he would have had the stamina to finish otherwise.

After the intermission, the “OH” chant was. It getting a very good “IO”. Actually quite funny.
I also chuckled as 2-3 fans tried a “let’s go bucks”. No response.

PSU usually holds press conferences with CS and a couple of wrestlers after home duals. Videos of those are not too difficult to find.

For away duals (which the Ohio State dual was), it's pretty rare for CS to hold a press conference.

Coach Cael spent at least 20 minutes after the match signing and having pictures taken. Many Penn State and plenty from os fans. A couple of times a staff member tried to pull him away, but he continued.
A good guy to spend that much time with the fans.
