Some may wonder why I'm fawning over @LemonPie post so much this morning, but it hits home. I'm fairly sure one of my good friends was donning that exact outfit last year at the Hurricane in 35 degree weather when we were enjoying some adult beverages in the parking lot.

The process isn’t broken, obviously. I just want to be entertained. Call me an entitled fan, or whatever, but I’m a little cranky that I’m not in Tulsa right now. And I get it. PSU wrestles are year-round athletes. Nobody wrestles more freestyle and you have to take that into account, but can we not have just one major regular season folkstyle event? It’s all preseason mode until conference duals/championships. It drives me crazy.

Probably not. Fans want content, however try being say an Olympic weightlifting fan. You're gonna get a few matches a year if that.

Wrestling is a brutal sport, it's unlike any other and this is what's gonna happen. I'm gonna trust the guy who built a dynasty to maintain a dynasty over what fans wish they could have.

But, we need a National Dual tournament "to grow the sport". These coaches suck. Trying to protect seeds 4 months before the real national tournament is ridiculous. I guess we have it all wrong and it is spaghetti that sharpens iron, not iron. F you, Coach Kish.

When everyone says grow the sport they're either a dummy who wishes they could get a shot at Penn State or somehow hoping we can Penn State or there's somebody who is looking at their bottom line and they want Penn State to help enrich themselves.

why should the best team cater to the crowd? Growing the sport is something that might not be possible outside the increase in women that are entering a sport at a pretty solid rate.

Wrestling is a tough sport, it's a weight class sport and only 10 guys get out there at College. It's a unique sport because small guys have a really good shot at making a team and participating. Look at the size of most other athletes if we look at NCA football you'd be hard press to find 175 pound guy on a roster. And we only have three-way classes after that.

Grow the sport beans Carl Sanderson should be nice enough to make everyone else money even if it negatively affects PSU.

RBY seldom smiled and he was pretty good.

I was sitting in row 1 right behind the psu bench. After the intermission Blaze was standing and talking to a bunch of people. Some on the bench, some walking on the floor. He was signing bobblehead for kids and smiling most of the time. Dont think we have to worry about him having fun.
