First hint at OL improvement. Overall, do you feel good about them heading into Purdue?
I wouldn't say it's the first hint, we've been tracking their progress through camp.

I am! I've been saying all offseason I think this group can do good things. I also think this might be the most talented unit Penn State has fielded under Franklin.

Fashanu and Tengwall are difference makers on one side and the rest of the group are all solid players.

Can you please elaborate on your comment based on what you saw? I took the liberty of looking up nfl camp videos of OL play and pretty much saw the same techniques.
Not the good ones. Watch their arms. They all shoot their arms out after they recoil them. Bring your hands directly from from the ground into your man’s chest. The first one O vs D that gets their hands on the other guy wins. Windup takes too much time. Forget power
Idk. Bill is one of the best working

The video you posted was run blocking tandem work. Isn’t that completely different technique from 1v1 pass blocking, which was shown in the PSU practice video?

Not really. But watch the PSU video again before the 1-1 pass blocking drill 74 is working vs the pads, winds up on the run blocks. Heck pass pro it’s even more important
