He was limping around after Carr took him down in the first period in the last match - same leg he had tapped. Seemed to recover from that during the match but maybe a tweak. I am only guessing.

125: Steen vs. Eric Barnett (EB)

Steen has not had too many easy matches. Barnett is ranked #5

Per 1
EB shoots a double, switches to a single, and gets the TD, 0-2, pretty early in the match. DB throws in a boot, and Steen isn't doing too much with it. Stalemate with 1:59 left. Caution on Steen. He's up but quickly down and flattened. RT goes over 1 min for EB. EB working a 2-on-1, turns him, and gets 2 NF, 0-4. Steen to his feet and EB throws in a boot then trips him back down. RT over 2 min. Another tilt, swipes, and 4 NF, 0-8. End. RT @ 2:39 for EB

Per 2
EB defers, and Steen takes neutral. Steen shoots, nothing. Steen tries a single, EB counters, and gets the TD, 0-10. EB throws in a boot, and RT goes over 3 min. Steen works up, taken back down. EB working a bar, then switches to a 2-on-1 and turns him, and gets 4 NF, so it's 0-14 after Steen rolls back to his knees. End. RT is huge.

Per 3
EB takes bottom. He works up, and he's out, so it's a TF, 0-15, @ 5:11

5-0, Wisky

Per 3
Van Ness takes neutral. AG shoots, and a stalemate (front headlock) with 1:41 left. AG tries to shoot, then Van Ness, nothing from either. 1 min left. Van Ness shoots a single and AG counters (a little sloppy by Van Ness), 0-5. OOB with 23 sec. Again, Van Ness races to the center, and AG takes a country walk to the center. Next time Gomez sees Van Ness the result is going to be different.
I’d like to think so as well however SVN was never really a real threat. Gomez looked like he slightly pulled something in first period.

Gomez rolled through a few shots, Shane was there but wasn't able to finish. Both seem beat by the 3rd period
