Penn State wrestling preps for Senior Day, Shayne Van Ness named Big Ten wrestler of the week, and the latest rankings
Penn State wrestling takes the mat one final time in State College this weekend when the Nittany Lions host Clarion on Senior Day.
It will change after conference tournaments. Also ranking only small portion of seeding at nationals.Haines and facundo at 8 and 9. If they don’t improve that ranking doesn’t that mean they may wrestle the number 1 seed in the quarters?
They will be fine. They are 8-9 seed in the country so they can prove there ability in the Big10 tourney.Haines and facundo at 8 and 9. If they don’t improve that ranking doesn’t that mean they may wrestle the number 1 seed in the quarters?
O'Connor looking like the guy to beat, now that his knee is fixed. Haines can definitely beat anyone in The weight class.165 is a brutal weight class with 3 former national champions (Carr, O'Toole and Griffith). Facundo can definitely AA, but he will likely hit one of those 3 in the quarters. In my opinion, Levi has the potential to beat anyone at 157...he would likely have to go through Austin O'Connor, former NC from UNC, and certainly other tough customers in Ed Scott, Bryce Andonian, Peyton Robb and Josh Humphreys. We'll likely get to see him against Robb at B10's and the kid from Iowa will be a tough out even though he has beaten him once already. Some "fun" matchups ahead.
