What is WRONG with you. I got home at 130 last night after attending a Wonderful Football Game in a Wonderful atmosphere which is what everyone on this board wanted when we hired Mark Stoops. We wanted GOOD SEC players RECRUITED. CHECK. We wanted a team who would go to a Bowl Game. CHECK. We wanted a team who competed and played hard every game against SEC teams. CHECK. We wanted Commonwealth Stadium to look like an SEC Stadium. Check. We wanted our fans to be WILD with enthusiasm like other SEC teams. CHECK. Mark Stoops and UK delivered it last night PERIOD. We lost a VERY close game that could have went either way. GET OVER IT!! I am as critical as the next fan about this play or that play. But what I saw last night in COMMONWEALTH STADIUM does not deserve ONE NEGATIVE POST!!!!

AMEN Brother!! I'm with you!! 3 games left and I feel we have a shot with this team in every one of them!!

And he's wrong. If Vandy can win 9 games and beat UT and UF, then UK should be able to. If South Carolina can win 11 games three years in a row and regularly beat UT, UGA, UF, then UK should be able to. No one should be pumped about beating Vandy and an awful missouri team. I'm happy that Stoops kept the team together and has us heading to a bowl, but a bowl game should not be cause for rejoicing around here any longer.

Why is it hard? Most at the game last night have probably seen a whole lot more heartache in the past with the football program then you have. But they are not going to quit just because they aren't getting their return on their investment. Ask the players after the game if they are going to quit after seeing the flood of fans that came? Not everyone puts a price on a product, maybe you need to find an Edwards Jones if you need immediate payment.

Get over yourself, I've suffered watching UK football since the 80s, I think it's high time we get some wins over quality programs.

I am beginning to wonder why any recruit would want to play for our fan base.
If you win, then the other team is just weak.
Win by a last second goal and you were just lucky.
Lose the same way and you are trash.
Hang toe to toe with a team that has been in the top five of recruiting for a half dozen years and lose on a last second play and it's worthless.

And you have only suffered since the 80ths, get over yourself sugar babe, the sixties and most of the seventies, except 1976-77, were terrible with only (2) 6 win seasons from 1960 to 1980' the rest were non winning seasons so do you really have anything else to say?

because those people are NOT uk footbal fans. yeah, maybe they used to be. but simply watching a team play does not make you a fan of that team. if they are not satisfied with the progress that this team and program are making, then maybe they need to find something else to occupy their saturdays. they wont be missed.

So let me see if I got this right...the people bitching and moaning are the ones that didn't see 4 wins on the schedule after an 0-2 start. Yet UK sits at 4 SEC wins. They were in a position that is NOT common to UK football, and that is a shot at the SEC East. So the fans that were calling for 4 wins at most are bitching because they lost with a shot at the SEC East title on the line...yeah, makes sense.

If those people would just admit that they are NEVER happy unless the team they pull for wins every game, it would save everybody time and effort.
I am sure those same people got quite aroused last night watching the basketball team steamroll Asbury.

If UK football makes you so miserable that you can't see the forest for the trees, you have a problem.

The coaches for the most part coached a decent game last night. A lot of this one falls on players themselves. The interception should of been a touchdown. And the fumble by juice. Plus you have to be able to take advantage of turnovers.

Juice got rocked on that play. I can't fault him for that fumble.

But you say that like they go to a bowl all the time. You do know that 2010 was the last time they have been to a bowl? Right? No, the fans are not wanting mediocrity here, but they want a good starting point, a bowl is a step in the right direction. Do you remember joker and 2-10, 2-10 the first year of stoops, this is not basketball it cant be turned around with 1 recruiting class. Hang in there good times are ahead

The holding call on the fg was the killer. We would be up 24-13 and that would had changed the remaining of the game. We should be 7-2 and 5-2 in the SEC and probably cracking the top 25. We are a qb away from winning the SEC East and a top 20 team.

Going to do this one more time... IF... The WRs catch and don't fumble the ball away on Sat STJ has a 70%-200+ yd game and he is siting here today 6-1 as starting qb. Now please tell me the last time that can be said about a UK qb.

UGA has more talent than we do... especially upfront where games are won. We hung tough made some critical errors didn't take advantage of UGA second half turnovers. We are just as mediocre as UGA

I'm happy with prorgress. We need dlineman and a dual threat QB who can also pass accurate out to 15 yards

I don't agree and here's why. We dominated the football game until midway through the 4th quarter. We had plenty of chances to break their will and turnovers and penalties killed us. We didn't play a clean football game but I feel we were the better team. Georgia is more talented.
