ISTP.....about right. It is funny, i always bounce between that and INTP depending on the test.

I decided to go read about this and it happens frequently. I tend to be more introverted with my feelings and extroverted with my thoughts which means I'm an INTJ rather than an INFJ.

Well, just didn't want to see you make any drastic lifestyle changes based on your results. Ha! Not knocking the test or the enjoyment of taking it.

It probably gives a fairly good representation, but it's only a step above something you'd see in Maxim or Cosmo. Ask law enforcement folks what they think of the MMPI-2 with 600 questions and a time limit.

I went through some pretty extensive testing for CID. Was a PIA. I was disappointed to find out I only got a pass (better than fail) but WTF did that mean? Anyway it was all for naught because my CO was a *****. None of this means Myer-Briggs and Jung are useless.

ISFJ-A. I took this two times before. Once about 8 years ago and once about 4 years ago. The first time, I was ESFJ. Second time is was still ESFJ but, almost 50-50 on the extrovert-introvert part. Now I'm almost 60% introvert. I expect in 8 more years I'll be living in a cave throwing rocks at anyone that approaches.

INTJ....I've taken the Myers-Briggs multiple times and have been a solid INTJ every time. We took a version of this test in one my senior engineering classes....I think about 70% were categorized as INTJs.

Yeah I thought it was pretty cool actually and lent a degree of credibility to the test. My wife was in the same class and was one of the few that wasn't. I think she was an INFP which was also interesting because she stood out in the class as being a bit more creative than most.

My company actually does an assessment that also predicts behavior under stress or expectation. It appears that extroversion is one of the easiest things to "fake". Lots of true introverts will tell you that they are extroverts, and are shocked when they test as introverts. That's really the piece of these tests that make the thing hard to predict. Stress, environment, job, etc. all can change the way these tests read

Interesting. I've been told you should do a personality and something equivalent to strength finders every three years because we change over time.

Yeah, that last comment was based on a pet peeve of mine. Obviously not everyone thinks that people don't change. However I have run across situations where, depending on context, you will find people who will argue that fundamentally, people don't change.

I am a vehement believer in the exact opposite. People have their core tendencies that likely always influence them but they can and do change.

Have taken Myers Briggs and one similar to this over the years and have always been INTJ but it's probably been 7 years since I have taken one and the change seems to fit me pretty well now just like INTJ fit me back when I first took it about 20 years ago.

Last time I took this test many years ago in college, was INTP. People do change, never see myself switching from I to E though.
