We all would love football to start tomorrow but let's be realistic here. Schools are releasing schedules as we speak. Do we expect underpaid coaches and ADs to rework everything again after they just did?

Every football coach in NC would love for football to start Oct 1. All they would have to do is revert back to the original plan of action. Michigan started two weeks after their petition. Surely Mich isn't that much more intelligent than us North Carolinians! The schedule given by the NCHSAA was a premature poor attempt to appease the public. It was a forced schedule! Superintendents and AD's were told to accept this or not have season at all. This was an unfair and political plight. Shame on all involved. Not one board member stood against this according to Q. Tucker...She did not vote. Only or mostly now democratic governed states are not playing football. It is very doable and should be done for the sake of the student athletes. Playing in Feb & early March will be extremely tough on the players in the Mountains. Risk of injury during this time will be far greater than Covid-19. Read what the CDC says about it. if you have even a somewhat normal winter in the mountains and northern piedmont you will have several games not happening in feb and march...winter can be brutal at times throughout March in those areas....and I'm not just talking about cold...........................
Cooper and his ilk, Thunder, see nothing but politics in every move they make. Coop is eyeing the senate seat in 2022. That's already been said. What he had done to the citizens and student athletes of this state is abhorrent. He could care less. I truly pray that the people will get out in droves and vote his sorry *** out. He is a disgrace. And supporters of him aren't far from it either.
What if everyone would have masked up and followed restrictions early on instead of bucking at everything? What if our national leaders would have set the tone early on instead of turning the other way? I don't envy anyone in a position of power right now, but you have got to get your minds off this is all Coopers fault and see the bigger perspective here. A lot of this is our own fault.

One of my best lifetime friends is special needs but I dont get so easily offended like some of you do. Your responses to people on a daily basis lets me know you lean left so save it.
