I think Bama would prefer Washington.
I see one team I fear Bama could have a problem with: ohiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiio st if osu plays their best game. However, if they were to meet up with ul, giving petrino extended time to play and given they have a qb that can move the ball, I can see ul sneaking up on them. How many times have you seen our team unable to account for a running qb? Part of it is poor coaching on our side of the field (and we've had more than our share of it), but part of it is the difficulty of covering a dual threat qb.

Good thing for him, they don't have anyone really good left.

But think for them to get in need Michigan to lose twice AND Washington to lose before PAC 12 championship game. If Michigan only losses at Ohio state they will get in before Louisville as resume is better wothbeins over Wisconsin, penn state, and an out of conference win against a top 25 Colorado. Even if they don't make championship game they still get in over Louisville.

If Washington wins out and gets upset innchampionshop game still think they get in. It's the whole body of work, and shouldn't be punished for playing an extra game that uofl wouldn't have to. Would take the 12-1 division champs over Louisville. Now is Washington loses before championship game the they would jump them.

Ohio state with wins over Wisconsin, Nebraska, Oklahoma, and Michigan should they play in big ten championship would get in with one loss.

If Michigan losses once and it's to osu and Washington loses Michigan would still get in and be Bama, Clemson would need to lose twice also to allow Louisville in acc game win over auburn looks good now plus head to head, then either two of three of Washington, Michigan, osu

I agree, they have played crappy teams in crappy conferences...but they've won. Their competition in the acc is somewhat better than whatever conference they were in previously...with the exception of Clemson and FSU which are both extraordinary programs.

Yet, we would still have an 8-1 record if we played your schedule.
Maybe...depends on which version of Fla showed up...or for that matter, which version of Miss St showed up. Anyone would have a problem with the MSU that beat T A/M

Guess the OP fails to realize we play the exact same schedule as the #2 Team in the country in Clemson...but I guess they are pretenders as well...a team that beat us basically by 1 yard....

Florida going to lose to FSU once again especially in Tallahassee...they can't score. Also not really worried about Mississippi State...a team that lost at home to South Alabama...also, Mississippi State gave up 41 points to Samford...seriously...

I may be the only Ky fan that does not have a problem with ul making the play-offs....but it's only because I believe that happening would put a tremendous amount of pressure on the UK administration to focus more of its efforts on Football. That said, a lot has to happen in order for ul to get a spot. The first domino that had to fall was T A/M getting beat. The next would be, as much as I'd hate to see it, ohiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiio st beating Michigan then getting beat in the championship game. Then a loss by Washington would also help.
Very unlikely scenario.

Right, but like I said, it's the version of each that shows up. ul, or for that matter, any team in the country would have had trouble beating the MSU that showed up last week.

Bottom line IS this....There is probably no unbeatable team in the country. If there is one, Bama would be the likely choice. ul is very good but they simply are beatable. That does not minimize what they are or how good they are...simply puts them in the company of other beatable teams like osu, etc....On the other hand, I see them as one of the few that could, if the stars all lined up; if they got all the breaks; if Bama played a poor game...beat Bama.
It's Bama's trophy to lose.

Actually I don't feel Alabama is invincible....2 teams I like a lot against them are Michigan and Ohio State...the Alabama Offense would have serious problems against Jabrill Peppers, Jourdan Lewis and that Don Brown coached Michigan defense.

I've only seen sport news high lights of UofL games. Appears to me their another well coached very good offensive team led by a phenomenal quarterback. Bama is best team I've seen this season and I'd really like to see a Bama/Cards game!

Not true. Clemson played Auburn on the road, along with South Carolina OOC. They also have tougher cross-over games this year (Ga Tech and Pitt) whereas UL has Duke and UVA. Big difference.

See that is where you are wrong in order for UofL to get in the playoff they want Bama, Clemson and Michigan to run the table

Still have Houston on the road and Kentucky > South Carolina....not that much difference...and you are comparing basic ACC schools...only Pitt IMO is decent.

UL brings those Duke and Virginia games against Georgia and Miss State...they lose both but they dont have that problem..they have to get up for 3 or 4 games a year...they can just show up for the others

Georgia that lost to Vandy @ home and took a miracle to beat a bad Missouri...Mississippi State that gave up 41 points Samford...image what the Louisville offense would do to them...hilarious

The bottom line is now this for Louisville...our best player will be in NYC for the Heisman ceremony...our range for Bowls is from the CFP-(unlikely) to now worst case the Citrus Bowl on ABC against a SEC opponent.

Have a good day and go vote....

Play a real schedule in both football and basketball then you can talk...until then enjoy another tuff Wake Forest cupcake...how embarrassing...you miss the point..UL doesnt get beat up and banged up like other teams do because of who they play...go thru the SEC grinder and you are gonna have injuries..key injuries...as it is now..you dont deal with that

Really the ACC without a doubt is the best basketball conference. As far as their schedule goes they play Indiana, UK, Duke, UNC, Syracuse ( Twice), Virginia ( Twice) and Purdue all those teams are in the Top 25.

I am sorry but the only tough part about the SEC this year in football is Bama everyone else is a bunch of average to bad teams.

Look , I know that I probably hate Otis worse than anyone on this board, but TJ , with a lot of luck, got them in the best situation possible for them. Then he needed a fb coach with the idea of competing against FSU and Clemson, so despite all the negatives, he hires a guy he KNOWS can win and who's back is against the wall situation as far as his life is concerned. Four years later they have a Heisman candidate and maybe a shot at the playoffs. I know that TJ and all the Otis fan base are happy with where they are today. Can the same be said about our fan base? It's all about the winning!

Right now I don't think LSU is average and could beat everyone in the ACC.

This is an odd post this year considering:

1) The SEC East is the worst P5 Division
2) UL plays UK

As far as downgrading our basketball schedule and comparing it to the SEC, well, now I just think you're trolling.
