Long way to go. Several tournaments, lower ranked guys will pull a great round out of their ***. The key is to play solid for 4 days. Cream rises to the top, always does.
Scheffler is sitting at -3 thru 6 holes. 5 back of Vegas (who only shot 1 under 70 today). If Scheffler can simply shoot -3 the next 12 holes (very likely), that is not asking for a unreal round, he will sit 2 back going into moving day and may even end up in the final group with Vegas. Vegas playing with Scheffler will definitely rattle him a bit, cause he to maybe force some things.

Just as I called it. Except for Vegas, it was Noren. I also said DeChambeau (2nd), Rahm (T8th) after collapse at 16/17/18, would be there. Can't look at the 1st and 2nd round of ANY tournament, much less a major, and think it will stay. Saturday the 3rd round is called moving day for a reason. Usually more happens on Saturday (Scheffler's big move) than Sunday.

Am I in the minority here thinking ESPNs golf coverage is pretty lousy.

I like Curtis and Scott van Pelt. Needed Mike Tirico. Great announcer that adds a lot to a broadcast.
