I don't support him politically but am thankful he supports our program

He has been at numerous games at the RAC, and was sitting the seat in front of me at MSG
I was surprised to see him at the garden game, but he was there in support

Pick one…the state abandons us and doesn’t support us like other big universities and be pissed about that…or I don’t like the guys politics so I’m going to cut off my nose to spite my face.

Finally we have someone going to bat for us at state level

because kenpom keeps being brought up here and other sites, it really has nothing to do with anything, we saw the NET overall means little, well kenpom means even less

would you want Jeffrey Epstein or David Berkowitz to go to bat for you? Madoff? Bankman-Fried?

he didn't write the tweet it means nothing. he can go fu*k himself.
You people, who can't seem to see anything outside the lens of politics, must live a miserable f*cking life.
I swear you'd turn a puppy rescue into a negative if you could bring your political view into it. The damn Governor of our state, unlike any other democrat or republican governor we've had, actually supports RU athletics and you say this sh*t.

He went up to Gavin Griffiths and introduced himself at the NW game.
Had to be cool for Gavin - I doubt a HS kid follows politics but the Gov introducing himself to you has gotta be cool.

Murphy has set the tone for decades to come, that regardless of party, the governor MUST support RU athletics.

Only the biggest partisan ingrates who value their cult over RU could whine about that.
Cult? Anyone voting for a political leader based on their college fandom as opposed to issues in the state has an IQ of a toddler.

People who don't believe what you believe are a cult. What a pompous *** remark.

It probably wasn't reported on the network of your cult, but Murphy also passed a budget with over 100M for RU academics.

But you don't seem much on academics,

Some people don't want their children being taught how to jack off in fourth grade. I'd post some pictures but that educational material isn't fit for this message boards guidelines. Fit for grade school, however.

No instead they want their 17 year olds impregnating their 15 year olds.

Anything to derail the thread about the governor supporting RU because RU is secondary to your belief in what a fishstick heir says.

Oh gee, he donated to my school. That totally buys me off. You're right. F the children and what they're being exposed to. Everything is fine now.

Simpleton.

Get a grip you whackjob, he’s pro RU and tweeted what the entire board has been screaming. Literally nothing to disagree with.

Great to have a Governor that supports us.

So I bring up a point of one of Murphy's actual policies and your response is making up nonsense. Who is in the cult again?

Agreed. Some of our posters need a timeout from interacting with other humans. Regardless of how you feel about his politics (and I haven't agreed with all of his decisions/choices), I don't recall a Governor being more supportive of RU and RU athletics in my lifetime.
Agreed all positive but he did just carve out 100MM for RU so a little self serving. Argument can be made he believes in us so the carve out and further support by his message today. Either way we appreciate the support

I think what the poster is saying is it’s nice that he supports our state U sports and all Rah Rah but it would be great if he supported all tax payers of his state .

No one gave the same level of grief to Christie when he wanted the program shut down. People were supportive of Corzine when he wanted to help out RU. Obviously we all turned on him when he didn’t come through.

Things have changed. Polarization is a thing. We need to get back to where we can celebrate this one thing without feeling the urge to bring up the other stuff you mentioned. It is possible to do so.
