We have already been working hard on the 2015 season and today’s blog is the current list for returning starters for each team in 2015 broken down by offense (including positions), defense (including positions) and special teams (kicker/punter). Below is the list I broke down teams with the most/least returning starters.


***Keep in mind, this list does not include many underclassmen that have not yet made the decision to turn pro or not. I will keep this list updated as those announcements are made. I will also be adding to this blog to include all the conferences as I continue to analyze them.

We lose four starters on offense, only in the sense that the tight end we never used was a senior. But really, we have eight starters coming back there.

Poor Kansas sucks AND they lose everyone off the team.

Hard to say how accurate that is, but they have UGA's wrong, we have 8 coming back on offense, only losing our qb, c and 1 wr, and 6 on defense..

We only lose two that make a difference, Smith and Dupree, the rest of the departing seniors can be replaced with RS and undersclassmen and we will be better at those positions. DE is the big question mark for Kentucky in 2015.

Man, Tennessee scares the crap out of me. I didn't think that they were very good before they got Dobbs, but he has saved their entire program. Without him they may very well have lost to us and possibly Vandy and their program would have been completely in the dumps. Instead, they get lucky with an injury to their senior quarterback and Dobbs steps in as a hero who now has them poised to be an SEC East favorite next year. Makes me a little bit sick.

2 Things strike me....1.Tennessee will be tough and 2 Louisville looses just about everyone.

I am not looking forward to playing them in Knoxville next year. But sometimes teams play bad and make other teams look much better than they actually are. UT didn't do anything special against Iowa, Iowa just looked to be going through the motions, like they were hung over or something. Hurd would take a pitch run to the sideline unmolested, turn upfield and be 10 yards downfield before an Iowa player was in the frame. Looked like UGA when we show up looking like we rather be anywhere but at a ballgame. They will be better, Dobbs is a good qb, and their young guys on defense molested Iowa, but like I said, looked like only one team showed up.

Tennessee was looking good before Iowa. That was their fourth win in five games. And not only do they return a lot of starters, they return a lot of freshmen starters. Kids who are going to improve more than most other players do.

I agree. Iowa looked against UT like we did against Georgia. UT is clearly on the rise much like we are but I still think they are no closer to winning the SEC east than we are either.

Yeah I agree. I hate the Vols with a passion, but they could really make some noise next season. They're returning practically their whole team from a 7-6 season and they have a pretty favorable schedule as well. Won't be the least bit surprised if they win the East next year.

Tennessee will take a big step forward next year, but the SEC team that I think will explode is LSU.

Well, I knew they were thugs and cheaters, but I didn't know they were molesters.

In front of all those people too, surely the joke of an NCAA will do something about that, can't buy off that many witnesses.

Jauk has a sick obsession with UT it does appear. I do not think many people on here take him too seriously, he is just an old timer ranting and raving on a message board.
