Not saying it would be much of a game. Maybe it would be. Who knows?
But from a name standpoint…and because I don’t think we’ve seen this one…and IF we return to the traditional A/B vs. C/D setup…
i would love to see Phoebus vs. Louisa County in a state semifinal.
Again, it probably wouldn’t be competitive as the Jefferson District continues to be too soft and doesn’t prepare Louisa County. But at least the atmosphere would be a lot of fun and we would see a matchup that we aren’t used to seeing.
But remember that 4B is a gauntlet anyways. So whoever makes it though their two or three regional games (whatever the format is going to be), then they will have gone through some battles to make the state semifinals.
