Congratulations to ClarkeFan on winning the Pick em this week! For the win he received a 1 point bonus to his score. We had 51 "pickers" this week. That's about 15 more than last year. Keep picking to be eligible for the playoffs where everyone that qualifies (play 10/11 weeks) has an equal opportunity to win the championship.

I would like to file the official first formal protest.

It has been reported that Clarkefan was known to be administered drugs this week that provided an out of body experience that put him in contact with a higher power. Isn't that against our rules?

I now realize that there is nothing in Mike's rules that prohibits the use of alcohol or PED's.

So, I'm going to fix myself a mixed drink and take a multi-vitamin!

Druggy? Wtf
Ok, I'll fess up. Tuesday night I ended up worshipping at the porcelain trough after I started a kidney stone pain frenzy for 2 hours. I ended up in the ER Thursday morning, pain started at level 3 when I left my house, 10 when I got 5 minutes away. Got to the hospital, got Mike's favorite cocktail of Dilaudid and Toridol. Still haven't passed the stone, but not in any pain anymore. As for the picks, it was pure luck. I am not as wise as DP, Navy and Hammy, I just go with my gut.

HOW BOUT THEM CLARKE COUNTY EAGLES!!!!!!

Doug I hope you feel better soon. Believe it or not the pain from the stones or shards I've had on several occasions didn't even lessen with drugs. I think they just needed to knock my *** out. Thankfully, it seems as if the surgery in March has taken care of the worst of it. For my surgery they gave me dilaudid, phenagrin, and propofol. They could have taken out major organs and I wouldn't have known the difference. I woke up in recovery and I don't remember anything after they put that mask on me. I was feeling so much relief I actually went to a baseball game that afternoon. Anyway, I hope you pass it soon without any trouble. If you win next week we may have to take away your drugs!

I gotta git me one of them kidney stones so I can win next week!!!

Seriously, I'm glad life has calmed down a little for you pal. I know it's been a tough week.

Sorry but I would rather score zero points every week than EVER get kidney stones again..worst pain I've ever had

I know you were joking DP but if you never had them I pray you or anyone else never get them

Yeah, just trying to be funny. Actually, in 1954 my brother, at the age of 8, was burned from the waste up. For some reason that only God knows, he survived and is still alive today. (Of course, over the years I've threatened to finish the job when he pissed me off.)

He had many many, many, surgery's, debridements, grafts, etc. in the years following.

In the late 80's he had a kidney stone. He was in the hospital, in a fetal position, crying, even after having enough drugs in pumped in him to kill an elephant. He told me that nothing he had ever gone through with his burns came close to the pain he had with that kidney stone.

So yeah, you guys truly have my sympathies.
