Wow Mike, you found a bunch of “can go either way” games this week.
My interest is Poquoson/Smithfield. Poquoson has some injuries and Smithfield probably played their best game this past week. Smithfield at home and on grass is my pick.
I went with the Packers. I didn’t know about any injuries on the Poquoson side, but I do feel like Smithfield is playing their best ball of the year. Other than the loss to your team, they have only give up a total of 20 points in two of their games. But those Islanders have been pretty hard to score on, too.
Poquoson being two class levels smaller than Smithfield worries me a little about their depth later in the game.
If you give credence to either calpreps or masseyratings, between the two of them, they have 14/19 of our Pick em games within a score. Sometimes we just get really lucky with even looking matchups. I feel like there will be more than a few "pickers" scratching their heads on making picks this week. Some may hit the jackpot, others may not have a pot to pi$$ in after Fri night!
